"One star is more than deserved. We came to Marvin’s after terrible communication from the last tax service we used, maybe it’s a common thing? We know what it’s like to be busy as we are business owners and have busy seasons too, but zero communication is so unprofessional…. Even just an update, “hey sorry, we are 27 weeks behind schedule” would be something to go off of. Calls have gone straight to voicemail for weeks, and we have heard nothing back over email either. Pretty frustrating. Should have a better handle on how much of a work load you can take on. Guess we waisted taking work off to sit down with them back in March and waiting all this time to hear something. Need to go somewhere else…"

"Was highly recommended by someone that has used them for a long time. They had my w2, dl and other information to complete my taxes. Two weeks later and still nothing. I have emailed, text and called leaving voice-mails and not a reply back to any of them. Took my taxes else were and had them done that day. Would give them a negative star rating if I could."

"We have gone to Marvin's Tax Service for the last three years. This last tax season (2019) we started call in February to get an appointment (long before the virus close down). We could never get a return call, so we eventually gave up and went to another tax preparer. During our session with the new preparer, we found out that Heidi messed up on our Idaho tax return, not just one year, but for two years. We have been trying to get them on the phone to get this problem corrected and no one will call us back. Maybe they will respond when our attorney contacts them?"
