"Sought out Dr Wirthlin to change my sons care for behavioral issues in school and home. Previous care was at Frontier Behavioral ( they are a joke, in my opinion ). Dr Wirthlin changed his meds and dosage, and had him work on identifying behavioral markers. Every appointment was the same - talk about how the last week or two has been, loosely address his anger and defiance issues, and schedule a new appointment. As soon as my wife lost her job, and the medical coverage with it, Dr Wirthlin told us that he could no longer see us. No help finding a new Dr to help manage our sons issues. No referrals. Just bills."

"Dr Wirthlin dropped my son unexpectedly as a patient after my controlling ex felt the need to give him a different story regarding the legitimacy of my observations regarding the efficacy of my son’s medications which needed to be adjusted. My ex prefers to have my son heavily chemically sedated for her own convenience. This has led to awful side effects for my son - some of which are permanent. After talking to Dr Wirthlin about my concerns he and I agreed to lower one of his meds. Once my ex learned one of my sons medications had been changed she spoke to Dr W telling him I was wrong. Rather than Dr W consulting with me further regarding this matter he simply and without warning ABANDONED my son as a patient leaving him without psychiatric help. Not even a warning and no time to allow for us to arrange care with another specialist. I’m a prescriber and this is uncalled for. This is patient abandonment and unprofessional and was entirely unwarranted. I’m in a position to make professional referrals to Dr Wirthlin and will be sure to not ever refer any of my patients to him in the future. Sometimes you need to talk to both parents to find the solution. Not dump the patient as soon as they don’t agree."

"Dr. Wirthlin and staff (Jill) were well aware my new job required a lot of travel. I was a few months behind getting in for an appointment. I call to make my appointment and was told I am not a patient of Dr’s anymore and I would need to get approved by Dr to become a patient again. I am on medications that you can’t just stop, you have to be weened off of them. Yes they will send you condicending letters in the mail and basically threaten you that they will drop you if you don’t come in. Seems like you are more interested in $$$ vs. patient care. Which is evident when you get you insurance bill and you have been charged for 25-30 minutes when you only talked for 15 minutes and the rest of the time the doctor tells you stored about other things."

"Integrated Health and Behavior's office is very clean and peaceful, it is never crowded or loud in any way. The front desk attendants are welcoming and attentive, appointments are always on time and calls are returned quickly. Dr. Wirthlin has excellent clinical skills, knowledge and experience, he is an attentive listener and is respectful of all concerns and feelings. He is professional and personable, shows genuine appreciation for the patient and is willing to spend as much time as is needed for an optimal outcome."
