"Update: In addition to the information below, Rhyan, on multiple occasions decided to, inappropriately, choose sides in a contentious divorce. She went as far to lie in written court letters to the judge about me. Once the evidence of these lies was presented, the judge ultimately ordered our child to see someone else. Her behavior not only was extremely unprofessional, it failed to uphold her duty to look out for the best interest of her patient, our child. Taking sides in a divorce is not the role of a counselor and this behavior will hopefully result in disciplinary action from the state licensing board. — The communication at the practice is unprofessional and disappointing. Over the course of several months, I have had multiple emails go unanswered or fail to be answered in a professional (24-48 hours) time. They almost strictly do their communication via text sometimes at inappropriate times (e.g. 7am). Rhyan was unwilling to provide me with appointment reminders. The practice and Rhyan are unreachable via phone given there is not a receptionist. When I had only done parent consults via Zoom, it was not communicated to me that I was expected in person. Because there is no receptionist, I was unable to get a hold of Rhyan. After 20 minutes of waiting on Zoom I finally received a text stating she apologized for not communicating where the appointment was. Additionally, an intake and treatment plan was initiated without first receiving my consent as is best practice in divorce situations."

"I had done my intake interview to find a counselor for me and wasn’t contacted for a week and half/two weeks. I decided to contact them to remind them I’m still waiting for placement with a counselor. Another week and a half went by with no call. So I decided to call them to remove my name from their list. I’m happy that my mental health needs aren’t conpletely urgent and detrimental to my lifestyle or they would have severely disappointed me. I’m posting this for people with urgency and respect of your time, do not go here."

"This center for creativity and healing is a joke. The counselor is always on her phone and not working with my kids there were no improvement with either one of my kids. And when you give enough cancellation which is there policy and she always cancel there appointment always and said I cancelled them. Or moved there time to a different time. Even if someone requested documentation of there appointment she would never send the documents at all. This place is a waste of time and money."

"Initial impression: My son arrived for his intake appointment. I was unable to accompany him because I was working. When I scheduled the appointment, I was told that the intake would be conducted by his prospective counselor. It wasn't, and my son left very unimpressed. He is seventeen, has been in counseling for ten years and really appreciated his past counselors. After the intake appointment, the office called and scheduled his first counseling appointment. The appointment was scheduled two weeks in advance for 8 AM. I convinced my son to give the counselor a shot despite his initial impression. On the scheduled date, we arrived at the office at 7:45 AM and remained there until 8:05 AM. The office never opened. We drove down the street and grabbed a drink at Fred Meyer. We returned to the office at 8:30 AM. It was still closed. I called both numbers on the website, including the 24-hour emergency number, twice. All four phone calls went to voicemail. My son and I drove home very disappointed. If our experience is any indication, the counselors at this center are inconsiderate and unprofessional and a complete waste of time. Also, if an individual has a mental health emergency and calls the emergency number on their website, they should expect to leave a message. I'm sure the counselors will return the call at THEIR earliest convenience (whenever that is)."

"After 5 appointments, Rhyan was consistently 15-20 minutes late and then cut sessions short. Texting, taking phone calls and replying to email during sessions. You walk out feeling like you're not important and neither is your time. I doubt this place would continue to be in business if medicaid patients had more choices."
