"I called to set an appointment for my 8 year old, and they won't help our son because we don't have insurance and are self pay. I can't believe they would turn down helping a child because of no insurance. This is what's wrong with the world. They don't care about helping children, obviously"

"Terrible counselors. I took my son here and there was very little communication between the counselor and the parent on what was being said or done. And when I was in the session with my son, I tried to sit quietly and listen, but had I not said anything, she would have just let him play the entire time and not say anything. I felt like I was the counselor. I’ll be reading my own parenting books and doing a lot more on my own than they ever would. And not only that, the receptionist screwed up on our payments and insurance so we ended up owing a bunch of money all at once."

"This is by far, one of the best clinics in town working with children. We were able to get our children the help they needed within a couple of weeks. That’s saying a lot with all the waiting lists in town. Therapists there are very knowledgeable and compassionate, we’ve worked with a couple. My child loves going and hates to leave. I’ve been to agencies where I have not been included in my child’s therapy process, however at Molly And Me they are very inclusive of parents. My child had a hard time separating initially and my therapist allowed me to come in and sit in the room as they worked to get to know each other. Our therapist taught me good skills to use when my child has meltdowns from anxiety. I am so thankful for the opportunity to get an opening with this child friendly agency. I highly recommend."

"Molly and Me Counseling are terrific counseling to children in Boise.I recommend to those who have young children who need a place to work through trauma or those who struggle with behaviors with their children. They help me as a parent as much as they helped my kid. They incorporated me in the treatment process which surprised me initially, but in the end I was very thankful for that. My child is so much happier and I’m very thankful for the therapists and staff who helped us!"

"I would give this place a zero if I could. My daughter was referred here by an OT and we have been on a waiting list since early 2021. The first time there was a "computer glitch" and after waiting a few months we found out she never was added. The second time we were on a waiting list a previous employee "did not follow standards" and we once again did not get properly placed on the list. All we need is a screening for a disorder we already know she has. Here is the kicker, she has just gotten worse and worse and without an official diagnosis we cannot move further in her treatment. Unbelievable. The gal answering the calls was nice, but could not tell that I was upset and just lectured me about how she couldn't schedule us without going through the protocols. I did follow the protocols, twice, and still do not have an appointment. I couldn't listen anymore and just hung up. I'm normally not like that, but I followed the rules and really couldn't listen to someone lecture me about how I needed to do that again while my daughter's health declines. To be fair all of the children's mental health agencies are like this so I guess it isn't unique to Molly and Me. How do we get care for our children in this valley? I'm beyond disappointed and desperate for help."
