"Living in Gallerie in downtown Kansas City was a nightmare. Not only did I have my motorcycle and Kia stolen from the supposedly secure premises, but when I reached out to the management for support and compensation, they showed a complete lack of empathy. Their offer of a measly $25 visa gift card felt like a slap in the face considering the significant loss and inconvenience I endured. The management's response to security issues and their lack of genuine concern for residents' safety and well-being is unacceptable. I strongly advise against renting from this complex to avoid experiencing the same frustration and disappointment that I did. On the flip side and the ONLY reason why I’m not giving this complex a 1 star is because the maintenance staff was attentive and respectful. They would always come within a timely manner and fix the issue promptly."

"After residing at Gallerie KC Apartments for 4-5 years, I can confidently say it has been a delightful experience. From the moment I moved in, the management has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence, ensuring a seamless living environment for all residents. The apartment units themselves are modern, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. With updated appliances, ample storage space, onsite storage availability, and most importantly PET FRIENDLY! Another aspect I appreciate about this complex is its sense of community. From organized events to casual gatherings in the common areas, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with neighbors and forge meaningful relationships. Location-wise, this complex is ideally situated, with easy access to shopping, dining, and ALOT of entertainment options. Whether you’re commuting to work or exploring the city, everything you need is within reach. Overall, my experience living in this apartment complex has been nothing short of exceptional. With its beautiful surroundings, well-appointed units, and strong sense of community, it truly feels like home. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone in search of a comfortable and welcoming place to live."

"Please do not ignore the negative reviews. Do not rent from here. I ignored the negative reviews due to the nice amenities and updated units. HOWEVER: Lack of security and safety at this apartment is HORRIBLE. I lived here for a year, and two weeks after moving in, my car was stolen. My roommate’s car was also broken into AND her mother’s car was stolen. Videos from the security cameras do not exist. The garage door was broken over 75% of the time I was paying $75/month. There have been multiple building break ins as well with no communication from staff or management. Security is NEVER present and will not answer calls or return after you finally get a hold of them. I cannot recommend anyone to rent from this complex."

"The Gallerie team is nothing but accommodating, helpful, and personable! I had a neighbor with a noise issue, they came to the rescue. I had an issue that I needed some help with (as it was technically against their protocol), but in my hard times, they were extremely patient. Merrit, Andrew, and the rest of the Gallerie team are the best and really make you feel "at home"! What a wonderful place to live. If you see the "racist" neighbor complaint from a few weeks ago, that was probably me. I am not racist nor do I hold anything against my neighbor for who they are, but a dog barking routinely at 5am is ridiculous. I guess I could be racist against dog breeds, or I might just have some standards and/or conscious of noise my dog makes for the people surrounding me. Who's to say!"

"Updated Sep 30 2021 I stand by my original review from last year. Gallerie is one of the best apartment complex in KC. The apartment is still great, maintained very nicely, people are super friendly and the amenities are great. They have frequent resident activities, pool parties, food/food truck and other activities. We just recently renewed the lease for another two years. The only feedback that I would have for Gallerie management is to fix how horribly slow the online lease signing process is - it took me more than 20 minutes to sign 44 pages - I am forced to sign each page that takes 20-30 seconds each to sign and go to the next page. Review from 2020 A great apartment complex. Was looking at it for my daughter. Love the layout of the apartments, the corridors are super wide and very well lit compared to many other apartments we toured. Carlie was super nice to us during the tour and the management was very accommodating to our wishes about the one month credit. Extremely friendly staff and goes out of their way to help you and answer your questions. We really liked the floor plan, how clean the apartment is and very well maintained. I am very pleased with the timely removal of trash. Above all, the building smells great with the deodorizer throughout the building - I know it is a small thing to write about - but something that helps with the upscale look and feel of the place. The amenities like business room, fitness center, swimming pool are really great. You also get the choice to reserve the common area for private parties and get together when needed which is an added bonus. Love how brightly lit the entire building is. The building is off the beaten path but still super close to Union Station, Liberty Memorial and other places."
