"I had a really bad experience with Dr. Duke recently and I want to share my review. There were several issues that made me unhappy: 1. Disregard for previous surgery recovery: The doctor didn't seem to care about my previous surgery and how I had recovered from it. It made me question their empathy and attention to patients. 2. Risky surgical recommendation: The doctor suggested a new surgery that involved cutting nerves in my uterus. The problem is that there was a 2% chance of permanent urinary problems. This made me worry about my future quality of life. 3. Prescription without checking my health history: The doctor prescribed Valium without asking about my medical background, even though addiction runs in my family. They said it wouldn't affect me much, but I ended up feeling out of it for two days and couldn't function properly. 4. Limited options and inadequate recommendations: When I asked for alternative medications, the doctor said Valium was the only choice. This lack of flexibility and consideration left me feeling frustrated. In conclusion, my overall experience with this doctor was really disappointing. They didn't seem to care about my past surgery, recommended a risky procedure, prescribed medication without considering my health history, and didn't offer any alternatives. I would advise caution when considering this doctor for your healthcare needs."

"Dr. Duke as well as his team are absolutely wonderful. They're very kind, eager to listen and help, sympathetic, empathetic, informative, and more. Plus the office is nice because if you have a PCP in the same building everything is conveniently all in one place! After being brushed off for years by numerous doctors, PCPs, OBGYNs, and more when I came into his office on my last limb he sat down with me and went over everything in my chart/paperwork I filled out. Dr. Duke went over every symptom, every concern, explained everything in depth when it came to treatment, surgery, meds, care in the future, you name it! He gave me diagrams, he gave me pamphlets explaining things, he took the time to explain things when it came to conditions, procedures, or any tests he'd like to run—I appreciate how straight to the point he is and how Dr. Duke wants to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. Dr. Duke takes the time to listen to you no matter your medical history or how extensive it is, he sympathizes and empathizes with you and will do the best he can along with his team to give you the resources + treatment you need. I came in for endometriosis issues but for once in my life I felt seen, heard, and not like a number. Doctors like him are very far and few! I'd recommend him and his team/practice in general, or if you're needing an endometriosis specialist. If I could give 10 stars I would! Every experience I've had here was nice, no long waits, no beating around the bush, everything is explained and you know what to do or what you have to do from present to future, you have options and he is willing to work with you 110%!"

"Dr. Duke is an absolutely incredible endometriosis specialist that we are so lucky to have in our area. I had been struggling for more than ten years with constant pain, and then infertility that no OBGYN or regular family physician could make sense of- and Dr. Duke not only understood what I was experiencing but gave a very clear plan of how to proceed right away. He truly cares about his patients. Don’t hesitate to reach out to his office if you’re struggling with suspected or diagnosed endometriosis. I’m so glad I did, and feel like I finally have my life back!"

"After being given the diagnosis of endometriosis with absolutely zero knowledge, my OBGYN literally told me nothing. I learned more in a half hour meeting with Dr. Duke than I have my whole life from multiple doctors telling me I had IBS or something else wrong with me. He is confident in what he does and that’s a good thing. I would rather have a doctor who is confident than a doctor who is hesitant to do a procedure. Dr. Duke will be performing my surgery in May and I have been extremely impressed by his team already."

"We are so lucky to have such a talented surgeon so close to home. After many years of being told to just deal with my pain and there was nothing to do but a hysterectomy by many other physicians, Dr. Duke gave me options! I am now about 5 weeks post op excision of endometriosis, removal of uterine fibroid (Done by his colleague), and appendectomy. My pain is less than half of what it was prior to surgery. My quality of life has already improved drastically. I wish I would have found Dr. Duke sooner. Praying for a baby now! Thanks to Dr. Duke and his staff I have the possibility of carrying a child. Forever thankful!"
