"What a lovely find. We were looking for something educational to entertain the grandkids. Google populated this location. The docent was sweet and very knowledgeable of the history pertaining not only to the mansion but to the state of Idaho as well. The mansion was well preserved with lots of hands on opportunities. The girls could gently sit on some of the furniture, open cabinets, and there was even a play room with fun dress up clothes. Highly recommend."

"The stairs hurt my knees to walk on, so if you have weak knees keep that in mind. However, it is entirely out of their control. It's just not possible to make it more accessible to those with physical disabilities unfortunately. It's a lovely museum and one that has been near and dear to my heart since I was a toddler. My favourite field trips were to here. My favourite thing is the gramophone, and I always get so excited on the rare occasion they use it and play music. It's amazing. I think the gift shop leaves a lot to be desired, especially when it comes to kids, but the fact there even is one is pretty cool. So many cool events get held here, and it's always a blast."

"Moscow is an old American township. This is a really old part of the city. The historic area is full of great old buildings. There's the Latah County Historical Society building next door. Great place to start your Moscow tour. This mansion is extremely well preserved and served by terrific staff. They even have nice goodies out for you to take.It's a great experience walking through America as it would have been in the late 19th century. It comes complete with old radios, telephones, furniture and other museum-like displays. Take a the kids there. Great fun!"
