"Built in 1922 originally as a summer cottage for lumber businessman A.C. White. It wasn't completed before a fire in Laclede burned his lumber mill and factory. Along with other homes, it was moved by barge on the Pend Oreille River to Dover, home of a new mill. Here it became a church, which makes the building unusually rustic for a place of worship."
