"This venue is absolutely stunning and the owners were very helpful and respectful. They were very open from the beginning about the rules and what you are allowed to do. They were very accommodating and always polite answering my questions leading up to the wedding. They keep great care of the outdoors area and the house and it could not have been a better night. The venue was amazing and so were the owners!"

"The venue was perfect. The home itself is off limits to guests but is open to the wedding party. Although this seems sad, it's not; it provides an intimate experience w your girls and guys while primping up for the ceremony. The grounds are immaculate and have everything you'll need, and your guests will stay busy. It's turnkey. All you need to do is bring food/drink and speakers or DJ. I was afraid it would take us hours to set up, but it really only took about an hour w the wedding party's help. Jeannine and her husband took care of every little detail and were so gracious. They hung out in the background, invisible-like, to ensure we had everything we needed at every moment throughout the event. We had about 55 guests, and it was almost too much space, but it gave the kids a wide breadth to run and play. The dance floor on the patio is plenty spacious enough and provides nice sound quality. We did our ceremony in the gazebo. Without microphones or yelling, everyone could hear us clearly, and we were nice and shaded from the afternoon sun (no squinting or sweating during vows was a plus!). Jeannine allowed us her dock at her nearby lakehouse for the formal pre-ceremony pictures, which was a perfect accompaniment to the venue. Everyone that attended loved the place and all its unique character! Thank you, Roger and Jeannine, for showing my friends and family such a beautiful day and providing me a beautiful memory!! It truly was perfect!"

"Foxwood house is one of the best wedding venues in the area! Janine is an incredible host with a lot of experience running a wedding venue. When my fiancé and I came to look at the venue our schedules changed and she let us show up last minute, super flexible. She also allowed my mother to view the venue when she was passing through town with very little warning and gave her a lovely tour. Anyone can see how stunning the property is and the opportunity to choose your own catering and drinks was a big part of us choosing this venue. Unfortunately my fiancé and I got hit with some big expenses and couldn’t do the big wedding. We decided to elope and when we called to cancel she agreed to refund our deposit, which she did not need to do! Janine is incredibly accommodating and a kind person to work with. Any rules she has for her property are very clearly communicated from the start and out of respect for their beautiful home. It’s a shame we didn’t get to do our special day here but my experience was wonderful from start to finish."
