"I own a cleaning business here in Idaho and lended a $1K piece of equipment to a friend of mine who ived here for a year and a few months so she could clean the place prior to leaving. Upon the morning of the home inspection yesterday and maintenance check my $1K equipment along with various other cleaning products where confiscated and stolen prior to my turning in the key."

"When i first moved in after a couple months the hot water heater had many leaks in the walls and they had to tear out a huge section of wall and carpet. I had to get a new water heater which wasnt installed correctly the first time by their maintanence team. They had to fix around 12 leaks under my unit during my stay. I also had a drawer pop off once and it took them 2 months to get around to fixing it. Underneath my kitchen sink was sunken and the walls behind it broken and poorly patched up, so we had lots of mice in the cooler months. The bathtub and bathroom sink was painted over when we moved in, and by the time we left it had chipped down to bare material. Our bathroom also flooded with sewage 3 times during our 3 year stay. The parklane landscapers also sprayed my plants one year killing a couple of them, and they got in an argument with me about it. Our nextdoor neighbors had about 50 dogs in and out of their unit during our stay, one was a charpaie that attacked my daughter. The complex did nothing about their dog sales, we think they stole them with the "bait dogs" that kept showing up on our doorstep. Humane society wouldnt do much either, or the police. We have around 3 police reports on them. Our other neighbors had an elderly woman who pulled a gun on my wife and brandished it out her window at her. The police did nothing, and neither did the complex. Also during the snowpocalypse they refused to clean the snow off the car ports. Two of them collapsed one onto a persons vehicle. We called the fire department, and the complex didnt so much as issue an apolgy. Our other two neighbors were amazing people and long term tennants, who also were constantly venting their frustrations about the rental complex. We lived here for 3 years. They charged us $1300 to repaint the apartment. Idk about you but i know exterior painters who only make like $300 a house... My suggestion- dont even bother for a showing...unless it is to meet Liz- cuz she is awesome."

"Been living here for 5 years. Its a decent place and close to just about everything. Cons its very expensive for what you get."
