"The quality of the apartments are really great. The issues I had were with management, maintenance, and other tenants. Management is not super friendly. Expect to never get your calls returned. They tend to not be very considerate when dealing with tenants. I also had maintenance charge me for a repair that was out of my control so be cautious. Maintenance staff does not return calls or messages. I had to call Boise Property Management just to have my maintenance request evaluated. Also, there are a lot of tenants who allow their children (unattended) to play in the streets so be prepared to navigate around the circus. Some of the children will ring your doorbell, so get ready for that as well. Oh and be prepared to pick up the children's popsicle sticks, drink containers, water bottles, paper towels, snack wrappers, chalk, etc. on your front porch. Littering rules do not apply at this facility."

"I would never recommend anyone to chestnut valley townhomes. Which they are under a new name now. When you go back at the end of the year to get your deposit or maybe even a portion of it back they have some huge list of things they have to replace like lights and locks for the place which in my opinion should be their responsibility anyways. They are also claiming that we got rid of our dog a month after we moved in the apartment and apparently we had a conversation with the manager and they made an adjustment on the rent. This was never done nor was it even talked about. These people are rude and liars. I would never suggest these people to anyone."

"This apartment complex should not even rate one star. It's not the loud neighbors or our packages getting stolen that upset me. It's that my requests for repairs went unanswered. It's that upon moving out they have sent me a bill for those repairs that they never did. It's how I went without hot water for days at a time for a few months during the winter and they only fixed it when I called the company above them. They assure you that the part of your deposit that they keep will be used for cleaning, shampooing the carpets and painting when you move out, then they send you a bill for those anyway when you move out. They will also try to charge you for things that were not included with the apartment when you moved in, like drip pans and light bulbs."

"I have rented here since June of 2012. I LOVE it! I don't know why or how other people have left negative feedback. I have had nothing but a positive experience with Verity. I am extremely impressed with the cleanliness and quality of their townhouses. They are efficient to heat and cool, they are clean and solidly built, and they are spacious and comfortable. I am also thrilled with the staff. The office managers are always professional, personable, and efficient. I am also especially impressed with their response to maintenance issues. One day, my AC wasn't working, so I stopped by the office to put in a maintenance request. About 20 minutes later, Nick, the maintenance guy was already troubleshooting the issue. He told me that the freon needed to be recharged and he would have a technician come out and recharge it for me. I was expecting him to say the technician would be here the next week or something, but like an hour later, the technician was here and he had the problem solved. All in one day! That is quality service at its finest! I'm so impressed with Verity that I really hope I can continue to rent with them when I move to Boise."

"I like our townhouse. Quiet neighborhood and decent neighbors. Quick access to 12th ave. And hospital, management is nice and the rent is decent for the quality of the unit. We are currently in a 2 story townhouse in a four plex."
