"I will say that the two people who came over were very nice and this review is NOT about them. My husband received a phone call asking when someone from the *Union* could come by and have us sign some paperwork for accidental death benefits. Believing this was all legit and through the union, he agreed About 10 years ago I got roped in to the Primerica scheme, and as soon as these two started talking everything came flooding back. They use fancy words and try to make you feel special, we were told "We shouldn't even be talking to you yet, you haven't been with the union that long, we usually only get sent out when a person reaches journeyman level." And "We'll see if you qualify for the benefits, only one of the seven families we visited today even qualified." Then they show you how much money they're going to give you if one of you gets hospitalized or dies, they make it sound way to good to be true (because it is), then they hit you with it, "It'll be a direct debit from your checking account every month," (wait, what? Now you want my checking account information?) We do it this way because if you leave the union, you keep the benefits." RED FLAG!!!! If it's through the union, then you wouldn't get to keep it if you left the union and if it's through the union, your union dues should cover it, right? This place is a total pyramid scheme, I really don't understand how places like this still exist, two hours of my life just gone, smh."
