"Great location, great value for the price, rooms had been remodeled and updated. Did have issues with GFCI outlets tripping and blowing fuses and had to wait for owner/manager to figure out the reset. Rooms are quite a bit smaller amd more crowded than they looked online. But for the price and location I would stay there again."

"The ONLY place I will stay if I’m in this area again. The room was well arranged, everything was super clean, the bed was perfect softness/firmness, sheets soft, pillows awesome, I melted into my bed. Service was very fast and seamless. The outside looks dated but in a very cared for way… if that makes sense… lol. The pink tub and unique flooring in the bathroom is very quaint, dated but well cared for. I stayed all the way to check out time because I loved the feel of this hotel so much…. And it was 26 degrees outside…. But still…. Props to the owners for doing Retro, quaint, Comfy, clean, and customer service at such a wonderful price."

"This was a wonderful find! Beautifully updated rooms, clean and very comfortable. They are pet friendly and even have doggy bags! Microwave and fridge were very clean as well. Great water pressure. The owner is very welcoming and pleasant. They also have a nice rate and a great restaurant within a short walking distance. You should definitely stay a night there. We tried others in town each trip on our route with work and this was our absolute favorite!"

"For being such a small town hotel I was not expecting very much, but I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I do believe that my daughter went extremely far in this blend of old meats new. The beds were extremely comfortable, really nice blankets and pillows. Nice large new TV. Really good assortment of toiletries and really good smelling room. Overall I would give this a seven or eight out of 10 rating. Will definitely be back"

"I travel often was was pleasantly surprised by how amazing this motel was! Truly one of my favorite places I've ever stayed and I will be stopping here again in the future. The man who checked me in was very kind and I had a nice, newly renovated, room on the street side. I loved being able to park outside my door but not worry about safety since the town looked well kept. I had no issues with street noise. This place is worth the ten minute drive from the interstate! I enjoyed being in the center of town in walking distance to shops and restaurants. It's also about a 30-45 minute drive to Monument Rocks and Little Jerusalem Badlands State Park."
