"This company is very poorly managed. I applied for a home and they denied my application based on my current landlords “bad” reference. My landlord lied to them about me destroying the brand new flooring that I installed for him for FREE. I have valid proof that he was lying and I explained that to Chelsea the “regional manager” and she had no care that he gave them false statements and said that she can’t do anything for me and that the application was already denied. I should have figured it would go this way given the company’s horrible reviews already as it is."
"If I could give them negative stars, I would. Worst apartment management around! They never provided me with my move out charges then sent them to collections. Not only did they not provide any proof, the proof they provided to the collection agency was dated incorrectly. Now they have not answer or replied to anything."
"Toured The Commons with Maritza. She showed me around, the model on the ground floor and the gym on the ground floor. I rented, and got someone else to rent sight unseen too. Originally I was told my unit was available for viewing the next week, then they told me mine wasn’t available for another week past that. But then apparently they were wrong, as they showed it to me. After viewing on the 20th, was told I’d have my lease that day for signing. It wasn’t till three days later till I got it. When I did get my lease, my move in date of the 27th was listed as the 24th. Also the lease listed extra fees no one discussed with me, but Maritza stated she gave me all the info when I came to your eight weeks prior. I toured two weeks prior, and definitely wasn’t discussed on the tour. I was given a property map where she wrote apartment prices on it. Tried charging me pet rent for my emotional support animal, but didn’t charge the pet deposit. I called this out, and they stated they’d remove the charge. Maritza told me my apartment was B340. So I did a mail forward and insurance to support that, and then the lease said it was actually apartment C340. There were so many errors, and confusion from the office that I decided to pull out of renting there. So did my friend. This is when the manager finally chimed in, even though they were CC’d on every correspondence. They asked me to change my mind, and that they would fix all the errors that I ran into. But that’s a ton of red flags, and I didn’t even live there. I asked for my admin fee back, they didn’t respond to it. Two weeks later, I followed up and they denied it. Even though the many failures are on their side. I emailed Prodigy through their site, asking for their email, thinking they’d want to know what’s going on. They never responded. So save yourself some time, money and headache. Rent with any other company."
"Worked for them since week after Christmas. And got let go today because I requested a day off and because my spouse was going to be out of town for a week and a half and needed to be off in time to get then from school but I'd come back and also go in early to work my 8 hours. Regional manager was ok with it when I first talked to her about it (over a week ago) and then out of the blue today she came in and basically said changed my mind. Prodigy has a bad reputation in the property management world and now I can see why the 2 longest lasting employees are less than 5 years."
"My son and his girlfriend signed a 9 Month lease at River City Homes Apartments with Prodigy Property Management LLC. Spokane Washington. After 7 Months they closed on their first home and tried to work with the management team at Prodigy to exit the lease early. At first the management team stated they could exit the lease and only pay for the time it was vacant until a new lease was signed. That sounded fair but a week later they demanded $4,500.00 for breaking the lease, pointing out the lease agreement. They have sent the bill to a collection agency and threatened his future credit report. Prodigy demanded the payment in cash within 30 days. Spokane is a close-knit community and property management companies like Prodigy Property Management LLC, will not survive in the long term. My advice for any future renters. RENT ELSEWHERE! Read the small print on the lease and don’t think the management team will care about you or your family."
