"I had to rate Maplewood Villas with 5 stars because it was a great experience for my husband and I. We have never dealt with a property management company as friendly and reachable as Maplewood! They will always answer the phone and emails. The neighborhood was very well-kept and friendly. The house had a very nice layout and was refreshing with how new everything was. The guidelines were a bit strict, especially if you have dogs, but that comes with the price of renting. Overall, we are so thankful to have been able to rent with Maplewood Villas and would definitely recommend them in the future!"
"The absolute worst rental I’ve ever lived in. We are homeowners but needed to rent while building. The site manager micro manages your every move. You’re not allowed to use your garage for storage, fines for the smallest things (think HOA!) and beware of your deposit, it will be gone. When they say they want it brand new when you leave, they mean it! We kept their rental in good condition and paid over $3K to get out. Every neighbor we had said the exact same thing, it’s a joke! The best way I could describe it is like a burdensome homeowner that is always looking over your shoulder! Everyone we knew there either left early or couldn’t wait to get out of that ridiculous box!! From my understanding there has been many rent increases as well, beware!!"
"We couldn’t be happier! We’d been homeowners for many years, and now as seniors, to find a place to rent that is clean, new and close to shopping and medical is a Godsend! The garage is large enough to hold our two cars plus any items we need to store. Landscaping and maintenance are taken care of, and our management people are friendly and capable. We love our neighbors, too!"
