"Lived here 2 yrs plus and constant issues nothing ever fixed, drains always clogging up and constantly the toilets not flushing. Black mold from the old windows seals being bad. Cleaned the apartment thoroughly and better then when i came in and still got charged more than my deposit. Video proof. Constant car prowling, drug use in parking lot and tons of tweakers always tolling threw and people constantly coming around sleeping in there cars at night. Wouldn’t recommend anyone to even bother to live here unless you want a headache and or put your self at harm or health at risk from the horrible upkeep."

"Worst renting experience i have ever had. They charged me more than my deposit was for cleaning when i left the apartment cleaner than it was when i moved in. My entire 6 month lease i never had one maintenance request fulfilled. From day one my dishwasher was clogged and disgusting inside. the lady in the office suggested i run a cycle with bleach to clean it, when it should have been cleaned before i moved in. when that didn't work i filled out multiple requests to have it fixed and never heard back. The manager is hard to get a hold of. Another big issue i had was the washer leaking and making the whole apartment smell awful, again no one ever came to fix it. all of the drains were clogged and would back up and hold water over night. Do yourself a favor and sleep in your car because i can promise you that would be a more pleasant experience."

"Renting from University Apartments was an absolute pleasure. Shari is one of the kindest people I have worked with and extremely professional. I did receive my security deposit back so I don't quite understand some of the reviews I've read on here but I assure you if you leave the place like you found it you will receive your deposit back. I had no major issues and was accommodated in every way when I voiced my concerns. They went above and beyond to help me and I am extremely grateful. You can't beat the price and being so close to the transit center and grocery store really helps with gas. Great location, great people and I would recommend these apartments to family and friends. I have taken everything into account with this review and overall I have to give five stars."

"This was my first renting experience and it was very pleasant. Work orders were fulfilled very quickly. Neighbors were very nice. The landlord Shari was very professional and easy to work with. Not to mention the great communication she keeps with her tenants with as many units as she manages. My deposit was refunded in full, because I left it in great condition. They were very honest and good people to rent from. Great experience!"

"They charged me my full deposit, 150$, and over 70$ more on top of that. I left the apartment as clean as when we moved in, I have photos and video to prove it. I was expecting a check, but then saw that they gave me a bill, it also said that if I didn't pay within 14 days that they'd send me over to collections. I've always gotten all of my deposit back at every apartment I've ever lived at. The refrigerator buzzed very loudly and ran all the time, but they said it wasn't broken, so they wouldn't replace it and they said that they already tried to fix it, but couldn't."
