"Just moved out and they are trying to charge me 6000 dollars for carpet that's over ten years old. Thank God I took pictures and hired an attorney. I would stay from this company horrible experience and I was a good tenant. Rent was always on time and quiet and respectful... forewarned"
"This is long but please read if you plan on moving here!! First off loved living here the 1st year. Janet the manager was great, maintenance was on top of everything once you put in a request. They did a great job keeping up with the grounds, taking car of cars that weren't supposed to be there. Being interactive with everyone living here. Handled complaints on which we had very few! It was fantastic. This year they got new management, absolutely horrid. You put in a claim on their website not in person but online. They didn't come for 2 weeks, and we got an email asking us how we liked our service, I was at work so I was like awesome they did it while we were gone I'll come home and it'll be fixed. Nope. Got home and it was still in the same spot broken, maintenance just wanted to clear the request without fixing our issue. Complaints we did have one or two there was a family living above us who had loud kids. My boyfriends a smoker. The guy above us threatened us due to the smoke coming up into his open screen door. I went and talked to the manager about it and nothing was done. Moving out was the worst experience I've ever had. Okay our apartment was not horrible more so just the carpets, but they put in white carpets thinking you're not gonna spill or have foot traffic coming in. And on top of that THEY DON'T LET YOU SHAMPOO YOURSELF, you have to hire someone professionally to clean your carpet, so 200$ for a two bedroom apartment? Yeah no thanks. So we lived there for 2.5 years. They charged us almost $500 for painting. PAINTING. I cleaned our apartment pretty good, the manager (Angel) even told me it was one of the nicer places she's seen besides the carpet. Okay awesome that's exciting news! Charged us 9 hours of cleaning at $17.00. I know a different landlord and he told me his DUPLEXES take normally 3-5 hours to clean. We were also charged a 50$ blind cleaning? Why would that be a separate charge than the 9 hours of cleaning you just did? Honestly so so so disappointed with how this place turned out to be. JUST DON'T MOVE IN. They also have a really bad mold problem at which you sign a waiver for in the beginning which we thought like oh maybe as a just in case but no it really does happen and it's so bad! It's cheaper than most places and that's why we jumped on it so fast. It's a you get what you pay for situation."
"Living here was nice, we lived here for about a year. Close to the mall and other good shopping spots but there were many things that were wrong. Other neighbors had their dogs off leash, and when they wouldn't clean up after them our dogs were blamed. The move out process was hell and we were charged for things that were already broken before we moved in. Some damage we take responsibility for, but other things were just added on for free money I suppose. They wouldn't even allow us to shampoo the carpet, they said they would hire someone that WE would have to pay for. They would also raise our rent with no warning, changed the locks on the pool area without telling us, and the newest office girl was extremely rude and condescending. She would never address any problems we had, or try to fix them for that matter."
"The only reason why there are two stars is because the apartments are nice, cheap, and convenient. I lived here for just under 2 years and loved it for the most part with only slight issues. Until the move out process. The new property manager and maintenance guy are crooks. They raise the rent whenever they feel like it, then when you move out, they charge you for things even if on the lease and move out packet they clearly state that they will not charge you for and that they will not allow the tenants to do (like shampoo the carpets or the paint for the walls). They are also charging us for things we didn't have like a garage remote (our garage had no automatic opener, only a key) and things that were busted before we moved in. I am now going to be reporting them and looking for a lawyer because of this. Additionally, when the new property manager was just hired on, I had wasps on the door of my garage. I am allergic to wasps and called them to ask that they remove them for me because of my allergies. She laughed at me said "sure" and then never did anything. I ended up having to get a friend to do it for me. They supposedly have a strict no pet policy but there are tons of people with dogs and cats as pets and not service animals, too. They also replaced the locks on the pool, didn't tell anyone, and then acted dumb when we went to them about our keys not working. This happened to me and all of the tenants that had lived there longer than a few months. I know, because I talked about it with those tenants and had to go through that myself. If you want to move in, have fun, but do not trust the management."
