"I am definitely a foodie, so let's start with COCKTAILS and APPETIZERS, shall we? Both the Seville Sidecar and the Pink Cadillac are quite refreshing; I will be ordering them again. I am a fan of both stuffed mushrooms and escargot, so the escargot-stuffed mushrooms were a hit; the dish offers a good way to sample escargot for those who have never tried it. Our main course included a number of choice items from the menu. The roasted Brussels Sprouts make a good hot vegetable side for those who are watching the carbs, and my KC strip was flavorful and cooked perfectly. I don't often eat steak without mushrooms, and the sherry braised side was a popular item at my table. My husband ordered the French onion soup, and it is the real deal! Best we've tasted in quite awhile! We ended our meal with the flourless chocolate torte for dessert. Don't expect sickeningly sweet with this choice; it is more the European-style dark chocolate confection, which is preferable for our tastes. I do not like waitstaff that hover, or that are overly chatty; nor do I like those who are oblivious or inattentive. Our server found just the right balance of friendly attention for my tastes! My one recommendation for improvement would be to choose the same background music for both the bar and the dining room because they are in close proximity with shared acoustics, so I found the dueling soundtracks to be a little bothersome. Otherwise, a great dining experience!"
"The rip and dip bread! Amazing. Very impressed with the prime rib. The seasoning and “crust” was perfection. Fun cocktails and great service. If the decor was a little more upscale you would have to book a reservation days in advance. Great addition to Newton."
"Best steak, and local!! that Ive had! Super tender, and cooked just as ordered- I had the blue cheese filet!!. I was impressed with the menu and its variety of delicious dishes. The restaurant has an intriguing atmosphere with a worldly flair. I was very happy with my meal, service and the price . Look forward to going back soon!!"
"Great atmosphere with very reasonably priced food. Excellent service as well. We started with the roasted Brussels sprouts. Served simply roasted with some roasted bacon. The dish is simple and perfect. A nice char on both the bacon and the sprouts adds to the complexity. For dinner I had the red snapper. Its served over linguine with a cream sauce with artichoke and roasted red pepper. The fish itself needed a knife to cut. That said it was very meaty with a nice texture. One of the more filling fishes Ive had. The fish was lightly seasoned which is always appreciated. The pasta paired well with fish, but could have used a bit more artichoke for some acidity. A garnish would have been nice as well for some visual contrast and herby pop. The pork and mac was an absolute delight. The pork was very tender and perfectly seasoned. The truffle mac was creamy and not overpowered by truffles (a rare feat.). The broccoli added nice contrast visually and texturally. The flour free chocolate cake was perfectly dense and rich with pops of fresh berries. Will definitely be back and recommend."
"No the picture isn’t wrong. Had to go to Freddy’s after going to Cadillac jacks because we left hungry. Came in right at open and promptly Waited 45 minutes for a $33 fillet to be undercooked. The steak on top of that was devoid of flavor. The truffle Mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a box from the store. Someone at our table got the French onion soup, they said it was definitely off. The other person had the pork loin and the truffle Mac and cheese. The pork loin was dry and even crumbled when you bit into it. Service was good though."
