"Interesting info and public restroom, handicapped access and parking"
"Great little pit stop in Bonners Ferry. Very clean, and monitored. I enjoyed my time viewing the mountains, and it was very populated with visitors information. The bathrooms are public, but I didn't have a need to investigate the cleanliness. I'm betting they're clean based on the outside conditions. I noticed they even installed a couple E.V. charging stations (Electric Vehicle) amongst the ample parking. I enjoyed it. The scenery was a nice break, and a different perspective of the local area. Even though someone called the police on me while I waited for my wife to finish her driving test! That was a bit weird. They (the officers) looked very concerned, and assumed I wasn't aware of the other one that snuck up from behind me. That part made me feel uncomfortable, and a bit judged, or stereotyped. Hopefully this isn't an ongoing thing that's constantly a happening. That would make the visit not so enjoyable. Almost ruined mine, and it was my first time there! At the end of it all. I'll say this. The spot in reference: Great views! Very clean, and useful to the traveling folks. The feeling of intrusion, or judgemental stereotype casting.......hey they're just doing their jobs, and I am grateful to have them being of service to the community. They weren't rude, and at the end of the day.... My wife got her license! Wahoo! The boys in blue still have my respect! & The International Selkirk Loop is a great spot to stop, and relax. Stretch the legs out, and take in the surrounding scenery! Cya on the trails! . . . . *Moose from 9b"
