Ameriben would rather benefit from having a copay program pay for the medication and then tell the patient they are still responsible for full payments, not counting any money towards deductible."

"In August I had emergency surgery. I met my out of pocket deductible. I've called twice and their employees have gotten on 3 way calls to iron out bumps in billing. They are extremely knowledgeable about the plans. They encouraged a hospital and clinic to refund me over payments. They also encouraged an anesthesiologist to adjust their billing to meet contracted amounts. I went from worrying about owing over $12,000 to owing nothing in 2 phone calls! That is phenomenal! Eligibility? They can't tell you. Out of pocket costs? They can't tell you. All they do is read the 3 page document you were forced to sign upon hire. Absolute scam."
