About the Field Station: Dinosaurs
Field Station: Dinosaurs is an amusement park located at 2999 North Rock Road in Derby, Kansas, United States. The institution offers a Trail Pass which includes access to 10 acres of trails featuring over 40 moving and roaring animatronic dinosaurs, as well as Jurassic Golf, a dinosaur-themed 18 hole mini-golf course. Visitors can enjoy live shows, games, and activities presented by performers throughout the day.
Children visiting the Field Station take on the role of visiting scientists and can earn stamps in their Credentials by participating in activities and shows. Once a child receives 6 stamps, they become a Super Paleontologist and an official member of the Field Station. Families are encouraged to complete their child's Credentials to get the most value out of their visit.
The institution features true-to-size dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures from various backgrounds, brought to life through engineering and artistic imagination. Live shows, games, and activities provide educational entertainment for families of all ages. The Field Station also offers hands-on experiences such as fossil digs and bouncers for children.
Visitors can cool off in the Paleo Art Gallery, play mini-golf, and enjoy food and drinks at the Dino-Bites concessions stand. Birthday parties can also be hosted at the Field Station for a unique outdoor experience. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, and Day Passes include access to all shows and activities. The majority of the experience takes place outdoors, with some covered areas available for rest stops. The trails are normally open rain or shine, but may close in extreme weather conditions for the safety of guests and staff.

Reviews of Field Station: Dinosaurs
"Amazing time! I took my 6-year-old boy who is obsessed with dinosaurs to the Cretaceous Campout. We loved it! Lots of fun facts, a maze, a dig site, trails next to life-size dinos, bouncy houses. The staff was extremely friendly and hospitable! Highly recommended!!!"
"This is a great outdoor activity for the whole family. This was my first time going. I believe this is geared more towards younger kids, but there are things for all ages to do. I have a 13 year old who loves science. We enjoyed walking around seeing the life-size dinosaurs and reading the fun facts about them. We played beanbag toss and miniature golf. 10/10."
"We use the sunflower app and got in for free. It's about $16 for an adult $12 or so for kids 2. Are under free and if you like dinosaurs. It's definitely a place to take kids. I was impressed because of all the realness of all the statues juice and I add some pictures on this for you to see"
"We took 17 people to Field Station Dinosaurs today. What a FANTASTIC place for families! There were so many activities! Shows were all great for all ages. The Dino miniature golf was great. Bathrooms and concessions were easy to locate and the must machines helped keep the heat down! All the kids got all their stamps and everyone of every age had a blast!"
"We loved the Field station. The excitement began once you see the dinosaurs from the street. Let alone in person. The staff was friendly and polite, and also very knowledgeable. I have a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 children. Two of the kids are school-age. She asked if we had Sunflower Summer on our phones. Each parent could claim a school-age child and the whole family would get in free, the baby was free. We spent over an hour. We walked the Raptor maze. It was okay. But I blame that on Hollywood leading me to believe this Ford range-size dinosaur is going to jump out of the middle of nowhere and make a snack out of me. If you have kids and want to get all of the stamps (6) to be a super Paleontologist. You have to go to a class (1) and feed (1) under the canopy there a few minutes long. Basic knowledge questions. Then go to the snack sack and you'll get (4.) My family didn't do the golf portion because there were so many people. We will return"
