"Purchased 3 vapes from this location and all of them stopped working and were burnt 2 hours after purchasing and they refused to deal with it . I understand they’re non refundable but they could at least exchange one considering I have a receipt of the time of purchase . Lesson learned though."

"Every business gets to set it's own rules on how to treat their customers. This business has the rule that you must ask for the key to use the restroom. I walked into the restroom without noticing the sign that I needed to ask for the key. The restroom was opened so I thought nothing of it and went in. As I was doing my business, I heard a knock. I said just a minute. The response from a female staff member was "Hurry up! You do not have permission to use the restroom and there is a line to use it!" Well from what I can see Valero associates with these type of business owners which have NO clue on what good customer service is. My family and I will stay away from this place as well as Valero Gas Stations. I DO NOT recommend stopping for gas here. Many other places far better than this place."

"I carry fond memories of what this gas station used to be for many years. At any given moment, day or night, unexpected but ritualistic events took place. It was the epicenter for the entire North side neighborhood. Bound to run into somebody if bored, and always family oriented interactions between the employees and the customers. Short a dollar or two, Umana or Red said, "Just bring it back later". Old man Catfish or somebody's uncle kept the parking lot looking like a brand new penny, and he didn't ask for much, maybe 2 dollars for a half pint. The nights were just as busy as daytime or sometimes worse, but I don't remember a time when I looked up towards WSU and the streets were like ghost towns. The people who frequent the station nowadays are scared. They have no memory of what it was to be a part of the scenery, even though it may have been the background. I miss the tone of music bumping hard and hustling was always at it's very best. So, I don't know how to forget about those days when a come up would happen in a twinkling of an eye or a rainbow would cascade down ending at that location, waiting for magic that always erupted like a volcano. In loving memory of AMOCO...may the laughter still be heard!"
