"This place is fun to visit. I love their German Sausage. Sadly (like many places) their prices are not as low as they used to be. In September I bought several boxes of Ben's Wild Rice at .79 each. Yesterday that same rice was priced $1.59. I understand a slight increase but more than double an increase is ridiculous. You have to go in with the attitude that you never know what you might find. I was thrilled to find so many gluten free products. Has this store ever considered relocating? Plenty of space in that out outlet mall right off of I-35. If you are passing through Newton or are on your way to Hutchinson you should check this place out."

"Meridian is a small market with some damaged products and many that aren't. The expiration date always needs to be checked. The owner of the store has been nothing but unfriendly to me , not sure why. They seem to know that you're not a member of the Mennonite community when you walk in ,and some of the older ladies that work there treat you differently as a result. The younger girls there are for the most part very friendly. I enjoy having a market with low cost options near me but the rudeness I can do without."
