"Well, I am shocked. I haven’t stayed at a motel 6 in years. I typically don’t like them as they seem to attract a lot of shady people and rooms are always gross. I read the reviews for this one and was surprised to see so many positive reviews so we decided to try it. The parking lot is well lit and safe. It’s on the edge of town. I was not concerned to leave my vehicle unattended while I slept. The room itself was very clean. I didn’t find any remnants that someone else had been here. The tv is small I think 32 inch. The bed was hard. It felt like I was sleeping on a box spring. With that being said I definitely found my new motel for this area to stay at. It’s like the best kept secret here. It’s comfortable and quiet. The manager was friendly and welcoming us. The reviews are correct. This motel 6 is like no other motel 6 I have ever been to. I am glad we decided to listen to the reviews and give it a try"

"This is the new vision of Motel 6. I was traveling with multiple pets relocating across the country, with few lodging options (pets included cats). The room was great. It was spacious, room for animal crates, had a table and chairs, desk, the regular stuff. Lighting was excellent. It had a hard-laminate style flooring, stylish and less biohazard than carpet, was spotless, new linens, comfortable mattress. Easy to load in, parked directly in front of room door, and easy to keep an eye on a loaded car. Near gas and food, easy on-off interstate. Area seemed very safe and person at desk was friendly. It seemed to be a brand new motel. I plan to stay there next year when I move through the area again"

"This is the best Motel 6 I've ever stayed in! My son brought his dog and didn't have to pay a fee. Mini golf was cool and the mountain view was awesome. Staff was real friendly too. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to everyone needing a place to stay for the night or a few days."

"If you’ve ever had doubts about staying at a motel, don’t worry about this one. Our room was very clean and had paint and flooring like new. There wasn’t even fingerprints on anything. And this was a room that let our dog stay for free. You wouldn’t know it was a pet room. The owner was kind and courteous. Vending machine and free coffee in the lobby. Cute purple doors to the rooms and a pretty decent view from the balcony. It was a nice stay. And if you get a chance check out Baker City too. It’s less than 5 minutes drive into town and plenty charming. Thanks for the stay!"

"As a retired airline employee, I have seen many hotels. For a budget motel, this property was simply the best! The rooms are clean, crisp, updated and new. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner Peter who was very welcoming and warm and offered me an excellent rate for booking directly with him versus a 3rd party. I was moving to Arizona with the last of my things in my car. Peter reassured me that all would be safe and it was. This property is well maintained, well lit and sits on a nice hill. The clientele appeared to be travelers and some construction workers - everyone was respectful and it was a peaceful night. Thank you Peter for making my brief stay in Baker City a pleasant one!"
