"Spur of the moment trip. Googled hotels this one had the best reviews. So we booked a suite price was awesome and the room was actually like an apartment. Full kitchen, hardwood floors and furniture. Very clean."

"Great service! My wife and I had planned to stay elsewhere and it fell threw at the last minute. We were driving around in a bit of a panic trying to figure out where to stay at nighttime. We called up River Front Suites and the owner answered immediately. She was about to head home and went back inside, started up the computer and waited for us to arrive. Good value for the location, and amenities as it has a full kitchen. Would stay again if we were in town."

"River Front Suites is a wonderful gem that we found based on the recommendation of someone we met on our travels. It is a bit off the beaten path which makes it more special. The place is in excellent condition, has balconies that overlook the lake and there are three beautifully appointed campfire spots just outside the doors on the main level. There was also plenty of chopped wood. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was not inexpensive but I feel with the premium location and overall experience of the resort, it is worth the money. Last comment - take the time to take the lake view drive on the way to or from the motel."

"In town on last-minute business. Need to view various properties and after reading the description & reviews, this was the one. Upon arriving, it came up sooner than planned as we were in the process of calling in reservations. When we first pulled in, it does not offer the most welcoming appearance nor much of a pleasant appearance at all. Could use some work on the outward appearance. We walked up to the front door, which was locked but had a sign having us call in our reservation. It was easy enough process & within 10 min we were in our room. They do allow pets, but under odd conditions. Pets allowed, but they can't be left alone. They can't be on furniture, etc.. With our dogs being well trained, it wasn't a concern, but wanted to point out that out since it's pointed out that any violation of the rules can result in being removed from the property. When we opened the door to our room we couldn't be more pleasantly surprised. Nothing matched. No rhyme or reason to the theme, but it was extremely clean. Above and beyond clean. It had everything we needed and more. The bed and furniture were more comfortable than one would think. It was perfect. I'm not sure, but it seems that some of the motels in the area also serve as apartments. It's a lovely city, and we were able to meet some fabulous people. After visiting with a few locals, we are definitely glad we stayed where we did. If ever in the area again, we definitely will stay again."
