Reviews of Post Falls RV Campground
"My boyfriend and I rented a lot at this RV Park recently (fall and half of winter). We made the mistake of putting down a deposit of $300-$350 for the summer to ensure we had a spot when the time came. We were very pleased with the park at the beginning. Winter came, snow fell, and they are not exactly proactive in getting the park plowed. And when it is plowed, it’s not a very good job. We had freezing temps one week (in the negatives) and they shut the water completely off in the park. My boyfriend is disabled so this made for an interesting few days. Well, apparently they turned the water back on, but we still had no water. We ended up with no water for 11 days. We called several times and didn’t receive much help and their attitude was basically “too bad”. And we weren’t the only ones without water. It was horrible. We decided to find an apt and get the heck out. And we never got our summer deposit back. They keep it and turn it in to a “voucher” for future stays. This is stated in the contract so that’s our expensive lesson learned, but it’s still very wrong. We also had to put a deposit of $100 down for heat tape or something so the pipes wouldn’t freeze. After we moved out, it was not returned and we had to call them and inquire about it. They did refund that portion but it took a few days. This place is probably okay for a one night stay, but long term? Don’t. Just don’t."
"Post Falls RV is one campground of several in the area that are owned by a bigger parent company. The campground was clean and great for big rigs. The staff are mostly pleasant. They allow package deliveries, no regular mail. Our monthly (28 day cycle) fee was around $1500 + electric and they would not prorate for extra time spent after one month. You either paid for a full extra month or the daily rate (which was significantly higher). There is a playground and pool, but I wouldn’t say it’s a family oriented place due to the fast/wreckless drivers. Daily sprinklers do go off every morning around 5am and blast your rig even when it’s on the pad. Road noise during rush hour is pretty loud, but rest of the time is not bad. It was a clean and safe campground. Definitely brand new and high-profit-driven though."
"Very nice park, clean and spacious. The nightly charge is about $90 US which is high considering the internet here terrible. There are many full time families here and the lack of internet for everyone is seriously lacking. Lower your overnight prices if you can’t provide internet."
"I booked 2 RV spaces next to each other through the manager Tracy P a month ago. Tracy guaranteed 2 spots and was willing to waive the $50.00 reservation fee. Upon arrival, my friend who happens to be "Black" arrived a few minutes earlier than me and was denied the 2 spots together that had been booked. I arrived (white male) and explained to Tracy that the reservations had been made with her and showed her the email with the guaranteed spaces. Tracy replied, "Accidents Happen" and refused to put us next to each other by stating they were "Completely Full". Tracy had an obvious attitude towards my friend that was unprofessional. I expressed my frustration with her and it was obvious to me that Tracy had a "Racial Bias" towards my friend. Tracy agreed to move us the following day to spots next to each other even though there were MULTIPLE spaces available that day and all week long with the buddy / companion spaces. Tracy was completely unprofessional, racially biased, a liar, and not a good representative of Post Falls RV Campground. I also requested 2 separate times to have the owner call me regarding our experience and have yet to receive a call back. The RV park is will groomed, level concrete sites, clean, nice dog park and pool, however expensive and very noisy to the rear of the park from road traffic. Overall, I would not stay at this park simply because of the experience we had with the manager and the fact the owners have yet to call and address the manager issue which seems to be a trend with other reviews."
"We have traveled and stayed at many resorts this summer. We are very happy with the customer service, the staff are very attentive and help accommodate your needs very friendly. The dog park is huge, 6 ft fencing, very secure and well maintained. I have 2 extra large dogs that can get some serious running speed in there. ☺️. They also have a common area with a double kitchen, very convenient so you can bring back a pizza and cook in the oven without heating up the rv. It’s very conveniently located within 10 minutes of many amenities. We will be back."
