Americas Best Value Inn Sandpoint

"The front desk lady was super cool and welcoming ! We were on a lower level room and I went to take a shower and the water came out brown for a few seconds which I understand old plumbing can do that if it hasn’t been used in a while which didn’t bug me as bad as the tub also wouldn’t drain so I stood in some cloudy water trying to shower . We slept on top of the bed with our own blankets and we are not bouji people mind you when we go camping we don’t bring a tent just something to lay on the ground for insulation.. if that says anything about how we felt about the place .. we are staying in a really nice place up north for the same price"

"I was in Sandpoint for work and I stayed at the America's best value in and was pleasantly surprised with how nice the rooms were the beds very comfortable the staff was great very hospitable and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay it was quiet and they did great about making sure it was a great experience for my stay I will definitely be using this hotel again and wanted to thank Elizabeth at the front desk she is awesome"

"Stayed here for one night after a concert event. The setup was interesting. We were on the second floor. Room wasn’t terrible. Had AC going, but kinda stale smell. The door to our room was so tight you literally had to use your body force to open and then close it again. It was so loud to shut! I’m sure the people on either side of us loved that. The fan in the bathroom didn’t work so it was very humid for a shower! Other than killing a giant mosquito and 2 flies, I didn’t notice any other bugs. Bed was okay for comfort. Walls/outlets in bathroom could have used a better wipe down though. Not terrible, but not the best."

"We've paid a lot less for much nicer rooms. They were clean and well kept, but older. Beds were very hard with plain, thin bed coverings. Did have a microwave, small fridge and coffee maker."

"Kind of a weird building. It used to be a normal outdoor motel. But there has been walls put up around it. So all your interior rooms have a big full-size windows into the hallways which is kind of weird. The rooms were very very basic not dirty, but just stale. When I turned on the bathroom, fan and cigarette smoke smell just poured out"
