"Great location for skiing at Schweitzer. Service was exceptional - friendly and professional. Rooms were very clean and comfortable for a very reasonable price. They were remodeling some rooms so they should be ready for summer guests. Will definitely stay here again."

"Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Better than basic continental breakfast: breakfast sandwiches you can heat yourself, cook-your-own waffles. Local ventilation unit worked well heating and cooling, not too noisy. Blackout shade worked well. I was in a ground floor room so expected vehicle noise from parking spots just outside rooms. Was given a $30 gift card to use at three local restaurants for booking three nights. One of them, the Farmhouse, is just on the front side of the parking lot. Two hot tub spas and one small pool were well maintained. Outdoor deck with two firepits. One detraction: a guest checked in late and had a needy dog that would whine significantly, probably from strange surroundings, whenever the guest(s) left the room."

"I have had the opportunity to stay at the Ruby Ponderay a few times over the past several months. Each stay was absolutely wonderful. The staff is very helpful and kind. On 2 separate occasions I left clothes and even some jewelry and it was waiting for me when I asked if it was found. Everything is exceptionally clean - independent seems better in this category than huge chains. The pool and 2 hot tubs/spas are clean and well maintained. The hospitality here was incredible. "This is a well-maintained property and we enjoyed our stay very much. The room was clean and decorated nicely -- just a bit small. I liked the indoor pool and hot tubs. I also appreciated the longer hours that the pool room was open, compared to other hotels where we have stayed. The breakfast included hot items (waffles, egg & sausage biscuit, oatmeal) as well as several continental-type offerings. Check-in clerk was friendly and efficient."
