Moose Inn 6025 Maine Street, Spirit Lake, ID 83869

"The setup is 7 stand alone cabins that each have two rooms in them, around a central small parking lot. Shannon is very welcoming on the phone and in person. The rooms are quite nice, having been recently renovated, as a project by the new ownership. The beds are large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also updated, floors looked new. The TV selection is limited, but they are working on that. She resolved a problem that was not caused by them or the facility, which I appreciated. Rooms were quite clean. A great thing about the layout, which you can see from the pictures, is that you can pull your car right up to the door and unload or load, then move it to the nearby parking. That was great from me, because I was on a 3 week trip and had 10 pieces of luggage and food to unload. Definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area, and as a native New Englander, it was fun to see the streets named after those states, and have Moose Inn on Maine Street, when moose are quite common in Maine. I was skiing at Schweitzer, so it was an hour, parking lot to parking lot, in good conditions, but the pricing here was worth the extra drive."

"Really a great place to stay. Big comfy room. Great mattress. Just a couple of things they could do better. The soap in the shower didn’t last the two days we were there, and the air conditioner was too noisy to leave on at night. Lot of clanging. Fortunately the large ceiling fan did a nice job. VERY CLEAN ROOM!We will stay there again."

"The rooms are beautiful and extremely spacious. The bathroom and shower were equally as spacious and even handicap accessible. Conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants and pubs. We did have a few issues with check-in. The office did call ahead to ask for an approximate check-in time. We arrived at said time, but they were closed. After a little phone tag, they did get us the combination to our room. The only qualms I had were that the blanket on the bed was crunchy, like it either hadn't been dried properly after washing, or something had been spilled by a prior tenant and it wasn't washed. Either way, kinda gross. The pillows were also super lumpy like they'd been washed, too. The heater was also very loud. It woke me up quite a few times throughout the night. Overall, for the price, we would stay here again. The hiccups were minor, and the rooms really were beautiful. The king-sized bed was a nice surprise, too."

"I cant believe the rating was a 2 star. It was very clean, comfy, & updated. Cassie, Brandy, & Tess do an amazing job taking care of the rooms. Priced great, good location, & lots of info for meal accommodations in their book. Will absolutely be back!"

"Our stay was great! Good space and quiet. The TV Controller was not programmed for the TV but that was alright. I am glad that we could text a number to get additional towels, etc. comfy bed too. Would recommend!"
