"I'm not sure what the bad reviews about prices are all about. I have visited most thrift stores in the area and I would say they just fall slightly on the higher end, but not by much. However, the quality of items here, especially furniture is way above average. Very nice couches, dressers, other furniture. Really good selection of clothing and coats. Beautiful artwork and other nick-nacks for home decor. Remember, all proceeds generated from UGM Thrift, auto, and other ventures go directly into their mission of helping the homeless and providing resources towards helping men, women, and children better themselves. Salaries have to be paid, rent and utilities need to be paid, some food items that don't get donated on a regular basis need to be bought, etc. On top of it all, the staff at this location are very friendly and helpful. As a current resident of UGM Men's mission transitioning back into housing, I applaud what this organization does for the community. Please keep all this in mind before writing negative reviews, they need all the financial support they can get. The prices are NOT outrageous."
"The store looks lovely…personnel are very nice and helpful. Sadly….the prices ARE way too high compared to other thrift stores in Spokane. I used to shop at the Boone location every week. I am unlikely to go again, given the prices, the lack of ‘meaningful’ discounts and other incentives that were available in past years. Yesterday I was stunned to see a number of pieces of women’s clothing marked at $10 or $12 that I know would never be priced that high at other thrift stores I shop!"
"Astonishingly high prices, why??? Better off shopping at target or Nordstrom rack. Tbh I have hunter boots from Nordstrom rack NEW cheaper than that. Just crazy. Thought the thrift stores were supposed to be more affordable than department stores. I was bewildered, prices didn’t used to be like this here. It’s a thrift not Bloomingdale’s, come on."
"This is one of the cleanest (if not THE cleanest) Thrift Store in Spokane. Items are spread out, clean, and organized. This is the place to go to if you get overwhelmed by other Thrift Stores that look like junkyards. Come here if you're looking for furniture too. Super clean selection, and they only showcase the best. Well priced too. I say "well priced" because all the items are not overly priced; nor, are they dirt cheap. I did buy a great condition footwear that was originally $80 new for $13, so a win imo. Parking lot is good sized. Employees are friendly and presentable. Good selection of women's clothing, and a decent selection for men's (however, sizes are more for XXL and below). Not much of a Big & Tall selection, or a sports section. There is a huge selection for cookware & trinkets. See photos of how clean this place is. 5/5"
