"My experience at Integrative Medicine of Idaho was unfortunately disappointing. I hoped to find a departure from the arrogance often associated with allopathic doctors, but it was no different here. Despite clearly expressing my preferences for certain treatments that had previously provided relief, the doctors seemed unwilling to listen and were dismissive of my input. This inflexibility, even with natural treatments, left me feeling frustrated and unheard. Additionally, I was disturbed to learn of a case where one of the doctors at Functional Medicine erroneously reported a patient to child protective services, resulting in unjust consequences for the family. This misuse of power highlights a concerning lack of empathy and understanding within the practice. Overall, my experience at Integrative Medicine of Idaho was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it."

"***Update*** I appreciate the fact that FMI took the time to reach out and tried to offer solutions to make our brief experience with FMI better. Although I declined I wanted my review to reflect that the clinic does seem committed to patient satisfaction and acknowledged that our experience was subpar. My child has been diagnosed with PANS. Our journey has been complicated, disappointing, frustrating but above all, we always seem to be left with the feeling of defeat. I was tired of the on and off again treatment of antibiotics and steroids. I was tired of doctors who refused to look deeper. I was looking for an alternate way; a way that would strengthen my child's immune system. I was looking for answers rooted in research, and I was looking for a clinic that was willing to listen and offer a long term solution rather than a temporary fix. I was told to try a functional medicine doctor, which is how I came across Dr. Mario Brus. Two weeks before our appointment (we waited for almost 5 months for our telehealth appointment) I contacted the office to ask a few questions about the doctor's philosophy. I had heard that he is a strong believer in 5G, EMF and vaccine harm, and I wanted to read the research that led him to those conclusions. I wasn't about to pay hundreds of dollars out of pocket because someone had a hunch these things were toxic; I wanted to read the science behind his decisions. The nurse told me the doctor has done extensive research, and she would ask Dr. Brus to send over the papers he has read. Instead of sending those documents I was given a call to say that my appointment with Dr. Brus has been canceled, because he is no longer seeing "functional medicine" patients only wellness visits...hilarious since the name of his clinic is Functional Medicine. Save your money and time. The decision to cancel my appointment instead of providing evidence is cowardly. Beware, these are the type that prey on parents desperate to help their children. Medicine and science are tightly woven together-you can't have one without the other. Lastly, great doctors have no problem backing up their philosophy with research. Buck up, Snowflake!"

"I've been trying to get an appointment since May. I call the front desk, they don't pick up so I leave a message. When they return the message they transfer me to the billing dept, who transfers me back to the front desk who then doesn't pick up. My online portal is done, all forms filled out but I can't get a call back to schedule. My PCP told me I need to see a functional medicine provider for the next tests I need. Looks like I'll be shopping for a doctor out of state. Idaho healthcare sucks"
