"While being a patient for two years, in the middle of medical treatment Dr.Cron sent a letter of termination. I scheduled an appointment to see him due to ongoing nerve pain, his nurse Jamie called me and cancelled it stating Dr.Cron can’t help me. How someone can just wipe their hands of patients like we were nothing. There was never any problems with us and the staff, never any conflicts. My daughter seen him and got blood work done, they never called us with results nothing. They deactivated our online accounts so I have no access to anything. So disappointing to see a physician do this to patients in the middle of medical needs and on going health problems."
"I left a different surgery to remail with a specific doctor after he moved to Summit. I had so much faith in that doctor that over the years I have sent numerous friends and family members to him. A year ago I was left with a bill over $200 that I knew would normally be covered by my insurance. I have spent a year fighting with Summit and trying to get them to confirm that my insurance had paid the bill. Summit removed me as a patient 9 months ago and for 6 months I have been without my medication. Medication which I am basically unable to function without. That I am unable to function at work without. But I wanted so badly to stay with this particular doctor that I continued fighting with Summit and my insurance to try to fix the problem. I finally got my insurance to provide EOBs and confirm they had paid the bill, and there was only $39 owing. At which point I had to spend over a week trying to get their collections agency to answer the phone so that I could pay the bill and be reinstated as a patient. The collections agency told me that they had no record of me and to call the surgery again. I finally got in touch with the billing department who told me they could take the payment. At which point I was told they couldn't reinstate me until the doctor approved. Which he didn't, because the bill had been owing for such a long time. When I tried to explain to the staff that the bill had only been owing because they had no record of my insurance paying it, I was told that they hadn't even sent it to a collections agency and had just written it off. And that they had no record of even dealing with me or my insurance trying to fix this issue for the last almost year. For six months of my life every day has been a struggle without my medication simply because I wanted to stay with a doctor I knew and trusted. Only to find out that the surgery were so incapable with their billing that they couldn't get their story straight on whether they had sent me to collections or whether they even had any record of what was owing or when. I have lost all faith with the surgery and will be removing my daughter from there as well, because even though they have never had an issue with her billing or payment, I can no longer trust Summit to put their patients or their patient needs first and actually process any payments correctly."
"I don’t typically write negative reviews, but I felt compelled to talk about my experience with Summit Family Health. I will not call anyone person out during this review, because that’s not what this review is about. I want to preface that, this is my opinion and feelings based on my experiences. I am disappointed with the lack of “quality care” I received. Meaning I felt as though not all my needs were met and appointments were rushed. Unfortunately , I did not have the opportunity to express my discontent with the provider, to see if there is something we as a team, could have done differently to make the experience better for everyone. In my opinion based off my experience, There seems to be a disconnect between the providers, the billing department and the front desk, hopefully that can be resolved if there is indeed a disconnect. The experience I had that helped me to come to the decision to discontinue care with this clinic went as follows; I had a follow up appointment and I arrived 4 minutes late, due to the Mountain View High school traffic, making it difficult to enter into the clinics parking lot and I was turned away by the nurse, she said I would have to reschedule because I was late. I mentioned to the front office that when establishing care I signed documentation saying I agreed that if I am more than 10 minutes late I would have to reschedule, I was not 10 minutes late, I was 4 minutes late, but by the time the front office inquired with the nurse, I was 6 minutes late. I felt that was not an appropriate action based on the facts and the situation. So I thanked the front office person for her attempt to remedy the situation, but then expressed discontent with the service I have received thus far since being a newer patient of the clinic, and my intuition was telling me something wasn’t right and to discontinue my treatment and care with the clinic. So, I did just that!"
"I came to this clinic because my previous doctor transferred here. To be clear, I love that doctor- Bill Jensen. I was assigned to a different physician as my PCP. I never saw that doctor. On my second visit they did some bloodwork and one of tests isn’t covered by insurance. I knew that was a possibility so I ended up owing $350 dollars. I made a $100 payment and let them know I would pay rest the following month. In the meantime I ended up getting really sick and going to the ER where they diagnosed me with Lupus and stated that I was in a bad flare up. They said I needed to call my doctor and get in right away. I called to schedule an appointment and they said they would not see me until the entire balance was paid. They said that was “per the provider”….the provider that I have never seen. I told them I could pay 1/2 of it but they said no. I honestly couldn’t believe it. A patient was in the ER, diagnosed with a serious autoimmune disease and in a current flare up and the doctor refuses to see you over $200…..!?!?! I called the office of the doctor I saw in the ER and his office was also shocked. They said Lupus is very serious and offered to get me in the next day. Like I said, Bill Is great and I’m sad to leave his care. But, I still can’t fathom a doctor being willing to risk a patient’s safety like that."
"Dr Loveland has been mine and my family’s primary doctor for years. He is always phenomenal and has wonderful bedside manner. The woman taking over for him is doing great as well! I was also recently referred to Dr Jensen and he is a very kind, soft spoken and lovely man. I never leave feeling like I have to worry about follow up or like I don’t know what’s going on. This office really does care about you, your quality of care as a patient and getting you on the right track (if you need it). There is not a single person from the phones, check in, nurses, phlebotomy team or doctors that I have interacted with that didn’t make me feel better. If you have medical anxiety I would HIGHLY recommend this office."
