"I’m posting this to talk about only 1 person I saw, this rating is a pure reflection on them only and NOT the whole staff. I’m 20 weeks pregnant with a history of 5 miscarriages. I went in for a normal routine check up and was forced to see someone who I had never met before because my original doctor is very popular and was booked already. I saw “Shashi Ajmani, MD”. The woman not only had awful bedside manner but she was incredibly rude and entitled! Every time I have an appointment my original doctor tells me I’m aloud to have an ultrasound to see pictures of my baby. Every other person so far except this one has been completely understanding and corporative of this. I go in to my appointment and she tells me we will listen on the Doppler for the heartbeat. And I asked her where is the ultrasound machine and she said we are not going to look at pictures today and I explained that I am able to see pictures anytime I want and it’s something my significant other and I look forward to. She continued to make excuses as to why I couldn’t use it. She even lied to me and said the ultrasound machine wasn’t available even though it was right down the hallway not even being used. She asked me if my original doctor would allow me to use the ultrasound machine every time and I said yes absolutely. I told her I’m the patient and I’m the mom so I will wait here as long as I have to until she goes and gets that machine. The conversation started to get increasingly heated and she started to get defensive and raise her voice at me. She said that the pictures are not even that good and I said well it’s a good thing there not for you and there for me! I was not about to take no for an answer. She then got fed up with my persistence for wanting to see my child on the screen and said she didn’t wanna argue with me. She then proceeded to say “fine I’ll go get the machine” then I responded “oh so now it’s available…” and she then said “well it’s not right outside of the door I’ll have to go get it” like bro your legs look like they work just fine stop being lazy and go get the stupid machine and do your job! She left and 2 minutes later brought back the machine and started to perform the ultrasound and as she was doing it she made sarcastic remarks saying “see there’s the outline of the head barley anything to see”. And she printed out the worst pictures where you couldn’t even see anything and she didn’t even help me up from the lying down position on the table. I would never recommend anyone see her! She shows no empathy or compassion. She doesn’t reassure you and makes you feel like a burden for asking simple questions. She gets upset easily and is argumentative. Not someone who should be working with young women especially high risk pregnant women. Save your self the energy, time, stress, and anxiety and don’t see her for anything! Unless you wanna do a school report on how not to treat a patient!!"

"I’ve had two awful experiences with St Als in general so I was hesitant to try their OBGYN department. I’m glad I did though. Dr. Dushku was amazing. I felt heard and listened to. She is amazing. The front desk people definitely need some training though. They were very rude. Other than that, I highly recommend them."

"I have had five babies through this office. The first three were good. The last two were not good experiences. My latest baby was born March 2022. I had multiple visits were I waited more than an hour to be seen with an appointment already set. The communication of my wait was not made clear to me as I waited...and waited. I had no abnormal pregnancies and visits were always very long. I was at the point were I did not want to go in, but didn't have a lot of energy left to find another office. If I have another baby or need OB services, I will for sure go else where (even having been at this office for 9 years!!). My latest birth experiences at the hospital were also not that great. -------------------- I have also gone in for a follow up visit where treatment plan finances were not disclosed. Maybe this isn't part of the policy/procedures? I worry for people who are not native to this country or don't have insurance may run into problems with our health care system charing large amounts for tests/treatments that aren't necessary."

"Unfortunately, since Dr Kattenhorn retired this practice has suffered. They seem to have high staff turnover and are disconnected from patient care. Disinterested and have no patient pass down or connectivity. You are one sheep in a herd and treated as such. I would have recommended this practice a million times over before the past few years but now I would advise a patient look elsewhere. An exception was Stacy Fish but alas she has left this provider. Go figure."

"I had a poor experience with the midwives group. There's lack of consistency with messaging and information provided to the patient. Unfortunately they made a mistake that was only at my expense and in this industry mistakes like the one they made shouldn't happen. To add salt to the wound, it's been 5 months since the incident and they've yet to resolve the billing dispute surrounding the event where they made the mistake. On the bright side most of my communications were pleasant and professional, with the exception of a few instances where I was labeled a high anxiety problem case."
