Reviews of Pain Care Boise
"I called this office to make an appointment to discuss my back issues. This was NOT an appointment to provide any other services...just to discuss if they thought they were able to help with my spinal stenosis. They would not make an appointment without having my Medicare number in advance (I did not have my card with me when I called). Before even speaking with a doctor, it seemed obvious that they cared much more about how much they could make off of my insurance rather than caring how much, or even if, they could help with my back pain. I realize a lot of doctors now fall into this category, but I'm choosing to look elsewhere."
"Jillian Vaughan is smart, caring, intelligent, very knowledgeable about pain care and how to work with your insurance to get you the best pain relief possible."
"I was really let down because pain care Boise started off so strong, once I got in. I feel like I was diagnosed properly which was a really big deal! Once we started a care plan, I went on a regular basis for treatment which included injections for Morton's neuroma and Plantar Fasciitis in both left and right feet. I had received three injections in the third web of the left foot for the neuroma, and one in the plantar that is when. After 12 appointments ( only 4 for injections, the rest were med checks and ultrasounds), I missed one appointment, called straight away and left five messages (one a day in weekdays only) in the course of a week trying to schedule another appointment. No one ever called me back. At one point I had called and the receptionist picked up, I announced myself and was disconnected somehow. I then called back and it went directly to voicemail. Finally, after a week of calling, they were able to schedule me 3 weeks out which was a week past the end of my medication and a day before my next scheduled injection . I had stated that at the time and it was really baffling that I would have to go a full week without any pain care from a place called Pain Care. I'm not sure why they couldn't do a med check for me? It is literally a 10 minute appointment. With the appointment setters discerned efforts, I am obligated to find a place that will take care of me better. To Dr. Binegar and staff.... Shame on your team. And rereading your mission statement, you have failed."
"This is one of the weirdest posts I've ever had to do. I was treated for upper neck problems by Pain care Boise. The treatment went well and helped for sometime. All was well so I thought. A few months later I tried to get a follow up appointment as I was experiencing problems once again. I called and left a message through voicemail as well as email. A week later I had heard nothing. I tried calling it multiple times but each time it went to their voicemail. I eventually tried calling from a different phone and finally got a person. This is where things really started to confuse me. I stated my name and the receptionist immediately hung up on me. I tried calling back and once again everything went to voicemail. As far as I know I was an upstanding patient and never had an altercation, argument, and did everything the doctor said. I did miss an appointment many months back but gave notice prior. I guess I am just very confused why I can't get an appointment let alone why no one will speak with me and explain. Please let me know, I am happy to take down this review if someone speaks with me."
"I struggled with low back pain for 5+ years following needed disc surgery. Extensive physical therapy, although it continues to help, was still not getting me out ahead of the pain consistently. I recently discovered Pain Care Boise and have received two TPI treatments from them so far, with excellent results. I have now made Pain Care Boise the most essential member of my pain treatment team. I highly recommend them."
