"I was a patient of Dr. Guy for 13 years. I followed her from St. Al's in Boise to her beginnings of Beacon Pain Clinic. At St. Al's I seen her once every 3 months, but after starting Beacon Pain and having a low number of clients at the beginning, I had to see her once every 2 months. Now after 13 year I received a letter in the mail (which took 2 weeks to get to me from the date on the letter head) letting me know she no longer wanted to see me because of a commitment I made to her. After 13 years of seeing her we knew each other quite well, but somewhere in in-between she changed her personal boundaries and I missed the signs. But to dump a patient that receives monthly medication for chronic pain with a 2 week notice is wrong. She knows there is no way a person can get into a new pain clinic in 2 weeks, let alone 2 months. After reading her reviews, it sounds like I was not the only one to receive this kind of treatment. I guess I should of realized what kind of person she was/is after I learned that she couldn't keep employees. Also if you're reading this, I dare you to call her phone # listen to the 54 second message, leave a message, and see just how long it takes for someone to call you back. Oh yeah, detox was aweful and the pain is so miserable I can barely move, but hopefully in another month, I might find a new pain management doctor. I prey everyday that I can anyway. She's the devil in a white smock who interests have change, and just wants to take care of her new Spa business."

"I saw Rebekah Guy several years ago (in 2019-2021)following a referral that i requested. . I was very clear on my needs and how much medication I took at the time to deal with headaches and other related pain. I actually took and wanted less than most docs are asked to prescribe!! I thought i was a pain doc’s dream patient given how little i was requesting i was going in for my regular appointments, getting urinalysis’and meeting with the doc. I would report when and how much medication I took before the urinalysis and it never differed! So very shockingly after an appointment I received a formal letter in the mail stating I was being dropped as a patient because what I Reported I took did now show in my urinalysis and that she suspected I was breach ing my patient contract..my husband and I pieced together as her thinking I was selling my pills when it couldn’t be further from the truth!! Some ppl would take 1 full pill as a dose..I only took a half pill as my dose. I had mentioned that I had taken it 6-8 hours or more before my appointment!! There was no consideration given to half-life and metabolism in my body processing the meds!! Nope. She just simply accused the cop’s wife (the cop, who at the time was working with the DEA to crack down on major dealers of pills in the Treasure Valley)of selling pills!! I was so angry getting this letter and inflamed that I could barely speak (which is a feat for me! Lol !! I was incredulous that I’d been accused of such a thing when I only was taking 1/2 pills 2-3 times a week!! I would’ve laughed had I not been so angry! And I wasn’t allowed to defend myself with her or the clinic bc I was no longer a patient that could make an appointment or talk to her directly!! So…be careful of what you may be accused of by the staff!! You could become a drug addict or dealer depending on how they see you as a patient!! Oh and their restroom is not wheelchair accessible per Google!) by a long shot!! Think “barely bigger than an airplane bathroom!! This is a converted old house when bathrooms weren’t considered needing to be beg! But don’t advertise it’s accessible when ppl in wheelchairs weren’t asked The wheelchair fit in but the dance my husband had to to do to get us in there was sad!! As I remember there were no safety bars around the toilet either i mean..What business doesn’t provide those for liability purposes!! The staff did not know now to cope with my need to urinate into a toilet “hat” and not directly into a cup!! They acted SO put out by it!! They are medical staff who..likely worked with a variety of patients and they acted like I was the first patient to be such a pain!!"

"My wife has been on a pain management protocol for more than a decade. We relocated to the area and she was referred to this clinic. These people are the worst! In 4 months, they have yet to return a call or even scheduled an appointment. We've had all of her records and a personal letter from her former physician sent, and still no response."
