"I just had surgery yesterday. Everyone at this facility did a great job! From checking in, to checking out. The whole process was smooth. I felt well informed, and they listened to all my concerns. It is clean and covid precautions are being exercised throughout the facility..I would recommend this surgery center to my friends a family."

"Staff were very nice and treated my child very well but let’s talk about the billing. Before surgery they said if I payed the amount they told me up front it would give me a discount. Well I overpaid and no discount and instead of refunding me my money, they kept it for another bill I had with out telling me. And I was already paying on it. So why take it and say you did me a favor? I used a credit card that I’m in debt with now because of this! But they rather take money because there greedy. The billing doesn’t not help anyone they just confuse them, tell lies and put people in debt. I don’t recommend this place if you don’t want to deal with unorganized and unprofessional billing department. They just give the run around so they don’t have to own up to there false."

"Surgery staff, and procedure went fine. Their billing department, which is located somewhere in the Midwest by the way, is a nightmare to deal with. They tried to bill my insurance for a whole bunch of stuff that was deemed unnecessary, and were asked to provide explanation, and they wouldn't cooperate at all. They dragged my claim out for over 6 months, and I had to get my insurance company to threaten them with my patient right's as contractually granted by them being an "in-network" provider. They ended up sending me to collections and threatening to collect the entire amount owed for the surgery, claiming my insurance was being unreasonable and not willing to work with them, which was totally in violation with my insurance company's agreements with them as a provider, and they were actually the ones dragging their heels. The collections company tried to collect on me. And here is the kicker, I never once got a bill from West Valley Medical (parent company to Idaho Surgery Center) before getting a call from an actual debt collector. I was happy to pay what I owed AFTER insurance paid, but no way in hell I was going to pay the almost $14,000 they were claiming I owed when my insurance company is telling me they can't do that and are completely breaking rules in doing so. I finally was able to get it all resolved and was able to pay my portion owed in accordance to my explanation of benefits and what was left over after my insurance had paid out, and got it removed from my credit reports after about 8 months of hell trying to deal with this company. Let me make this clear, it was not my insurance company that was the issue here. My insurance sent this company multiple letters, and even called them on a three way call with me to try and get this resolved, to which they refused, played dumb, and acted as if they knew nothing. This was entirely West Valley Medical's fault. Never. Again."

"Phenomenal and professional staff! Denise and everyone are amazing. My four year old is very apprehensive when it comes to medical visits but she had a very positive and fun experience. I definitely recommend the Idaho Surgery Center to all."

"We have had 2 experiences, and both were amazing. From the second we walked in the door we were warmly greeted and welcomed. Every member of the staff were so kind and patient, especially considering my children were 1 and 2 at the time of their procedure. We felt efficiently informed and very well taken care of. We are very thankful for the whole staff and love the fact that they give them blankets and an animal to feel snuggly to take home. A wonderful experience at a not so easy time."
