"I was told to come in today, by the front staff, to the Urgent care, or go to the ER, and when I did, the front staff told me, before sitting down, that I should go to a Physical Therapist. The front desk also staff revealed out loud (within earshot of people waiting in the lobby) the type of medicine I was prescribed (class of medicine). If I could give 0 stars I would. When I was last called by the staff, other than who I requested to talk to, they were rude and seemed they were more interested in taking sides with the front office staff than the patient. It remains to be seen if St. Alphonsus will correct the issue I had at this location."
"From the first impression, sign in meeting Dr. Was very good. The thorough questions and rapport were excellent. Making swith from Family Health Care after 22+ years, who's office staff detereated to not acceptable. Great change. Referring friends and family."
"Horrible from the moment you walk in. The staff always takes 10 minutes just to check you in. Then today I am in the room waiting for the provider for 40 minutes. No one comes in and checks on me or to inform me about the delay. I leave and tell the front desk staff that they forgot me back there and she responds that it is "just because of computer problems". Do I look like a car? Do I need to be plugged in to be diagnosed? Really??? I have been going there since Dr. Turner opened it and it is just horribly run now. I will never go there again after this experience."
"The most disorganized clinic I have ever dealt with. The folks there are friendly but doesn't seem like person A knows what person B is doing. I get it medical centers can get busy especially an urgent care center. I know because I used to work at one. However, when you get referred out to a specialist and the nurse gives you the address to the wrong office there should be some accountability on part of who ever the concern was brought up to in order to rectify the situation. This wasn't the case, instead it was a lot of passing the bucket and "she is out until" speech. The missed appointment was Thursday, September 3rd (because we were sent to the wrong place), we immediately called the office which was towards the end of the day and they said they would call back as soon as they could. We didn't hear back, it was the end of the day so no big deal. We called back the very next morning on Friday the 5th to try to get someone to rebook the referral appointment and we were given all excuses in the book as to why they couldn't do it instead of trying to figure out how to get us that appointment. Again we were told they would have someone call us back and you guessed it, they didn't call us back. Now we are going into the Labor Day weekend. Come Tuesday morning Sept 8th we called again and were told they would have someone call us back which they didn't. We have been calling every day. Today, Sept 10th, I finally called and asked for the manager to which I am told, she is out of the office until the following week. I asked to speak to someone in charge and again, you guessed it, they will have someone call me back. I am still waiting. I used to work at an Urgent Care facility and I know the system, patients are files on the staff's desk, from check-in to patient room to doctors office to the back staff and front staff etc. Even with knowing the system and verbalizing the correct jargon to get my concerns and request across it still falls on deaf ears. My aunt is from out of town and the only reason we went was because it was close to our house. She is in a lot of pain (nothing that warrants the ER but still annoying to be put on the back burner like this). Once we get our referral (so we don't have to start this process all over) we will never go back. If they are this incompetent they should just shut down. I do not recommend this place to anyone."
"The doctors are great, but my wife has had three bad experiences lately. Today, she needed to get a blood draw. She tried to call to make an appointment, but nobody would answer the phone. The phone menu was worthless and kept looping back. She stopped by and was told she couldn't get an appointment until 5 weeks from now. 5 weeks!!! This isn't surgery. It's a simple blood draw that would take five minutes. Last fall, she went in for her flu shot. The medical assistant who did the shot was complaining to my wife about the nurses who worked there. My wife likes the nurses there. It wasn't very professional, but the flu shot was administered pretty fast. A year ago, when she had her last blood draw, my wife went in with the kids, checked in, and sat in the waiting area (which was empty) for 45 minutes while the medical assistant (same as today) walked back and forth chatting with the admin clerks. My wife became impatient and started flipping her keys noisily to get their attention. The admin clerk noticed and made a phone call, and my wife was taken back for the blood draw. My wife and I enjoyed going to Oasis prior to the change to St. Al's and the change to medical assistants vs. nurses. If they had survey cards at Oasis, my wife would have filled one out each time. I hope they make a few simple changes because of this review."
