"I have no complaints about service or staff at Caldwell Clinic However they will not allow me to be a patient because they don’t like my medicare insurance UHC they refuse to treat me even out of network I have also offered to pay out of pocket. They don’t care about me or the fact that I can’t find another rheumatologist taking new patients or that is not affiliated with IAC. I can’t change insurance until open enrollment effective in January 2024. So they have sentenced me to pain and disability. Shame on you Idaho Arthritis Center!"
"Janice is one of the best Infusion nurses I have ever had. I scheduled on the day’s she works. Beside being a great caregiver we have became friends. I stayed with the office when they changed the insurance plans they accepted. Finding a good doctor and staff these days is not an easy task. I have been a patient since 2008."
"I recently called my and my husband's doctors office and asked if they offered video appointments, as my husband was extremely tired. He had been taking a medication where exhaustion was one of the main side effects. I mentioned that my husband was as exhausted as he when he had Covid. Joanne, one of his staff said "Don't come in if he's ill." I explained that he wasn't ill at all, just tired, and that we wouldn't come in if he was sick. The receptionist, Joanne, immediately said she was cancelling the appointment, and that we'd be charged a $50 fee because the appointment was less than 24 hours away. I never said we wanted to cancel nor implied that we wanted to. I never said he was ill. I clarified this with the receptionist multiple times. However, this receptionist attempted to cancel our appointment. I finished the call saying we were coming in as scheduled. Within 20 minutes the "Office Manager" called us, saying my husband was reportedly too ill to attend the appointment. Again, I never said he was ill. I said he was tired. When talking with her, we had to get clearance from the PA, Colette Weber, to attend the appointment. When we arrived, we were told if we didn't wear masks we'd have to leave. There was a sign on the door that said "Masks Optional". The receptionist yelled at us and said the PA, Colette Weber, demanded we wear masks. Zero symptoms, zero illness. We are an older couple, retired military, have four adult children and one grandchild. My husband's temperature was taken as soon as we arrived. All of this because I called and asked if they offered video appointments. Once we got in to see the PA, it turned out she didn't require us to wear masks. Just another lie from Dr. Lagwinski's office manager. Lagwinski is a good doctor, but his support staff is completely unprofessional to the point of abusive. My husband and I need the services of Dr. Lagwinski, but cannot subject ourselves to the substandard treatment by his staff. I typed up a letter about the above referenced situation, thinking that additional training would help avoid the situation happening in the future to anyone else that called asking an innocuous question. I brought the letter in, handed it to the "Office Manager", whom laughed and threw it in the garbage. Ten minutes later I brought the issue to the attention of Colette Weber, Dr. Lagwinski's PA. She said she's aware of the situation and it's being handled by the office manager. The same person that laughed and threw the letter in the trash. I know that in the post-Covid there is a plethora of citizens seeking the help of Rheumatologists. This creates a surplus of patients to doctors. This does not give employees the right to treat patients as trash, knowing that there will be more patients coming their way. When a doctor surrounds himself with employees that are unprofessional, it makes him look unprofessional, and unfavorable. I have found a different Rheumatologist and recommend that others avoid Dr. Lagwinski's office."
"I saw Megan Lane after my doctor referred me to determine if I had any autoimmune issues going on. She ran a bunch of blood work, some of which my doctor had already run but she obviously didn’t look at my medical records to know that. I have received a bill for $574 for a blood test that was coded incorrectly by either her or the tech drawing my blood and my insurance will not cover this test as it was billed for cosmetic purposes. I have tried for months to get this sorted out and no one at this facility has helped if they have even called me back! I WOULD RECOMMEND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!"
"I have been going here for almost a year now and have had nothing but great experiences. The front desk staff are always quick and courteous and the lady who helps with drawing blood for labs is extremely personable and positive. I feel like I get 100% of Collette's attention during my appointments and feel she truly has concern and care and wanting to get me in a more normal state with my pain. I've only been seen by Dr. Lagwinski once but was also very impressed and felt like he was listening fully."
