Reviews
"The staff at Palouse Pediatrics are kind, considerate, and very patient. Even though waits can sometimes be long, it is understandable for the level of care that the nurses and doctors provide."
"Palouse Pediatrics is spectacular. My kids see Dr Gordon and Dr Katie most often. Amazing. Best run medical office in the area. TEN stars."
"i have been taking my kids to Palouse Pediatrics for 18 years. I can say things have really went down hill the last 5 years or so. Without going into all the details...all I can say is that the doctors are pushy and don’t want to listen. The well child visits are more of an interrogation than them looking at the child’s health. I’m finally moving on and taking my kids elsewhere."
"Love this office! They go above and beyond to accommodate needs! I have a former micro-preemie so we have had a lot of visits. Everyone really cares here. And I have yet to have a long wait time. Wonderful doctors, nurses, and front office staff!"
"When I first called them to set up an appointment the receptionist was very rude. The receptionist told me that their office does not make appointments over the phone and that I had to do it online (I had just moved to the area, my child was only a few days old, and I hadn't gotten internet hoked up yet). I was confused about that and abruptly after she told me that she said have a nice day in a rude tone and hung up without saying good bye. After 4 hours of going through online crap on my phone and having the medical background not go through for the fifth time, I finally called Palouse Pediatrics back the next day to see what I could do about an appointment again since I couldn't do it online. I got to talk to a different receptionist that was able to help me and got me in that day. At that appointment the doctor was great. After the appointment I went to schedule my sons circumcision (I could of had my sons circumcision done at the doctors office where I had just moved from and they told me that they could work with my insurance but I decided it would be best to just see a doctor in the area where I moved. After this whole thing happened I went and called my old doctor and they can no longer help me cause now my child is to old to have it done there) and I was told that if for any reason my insurance didn't cover the circumcision that I would receive a call a few days before my appointment so that I would be prepared to pay for the procedure. When I went to my appointment on 11/13 at 9 am I was checked in by the same receptionist that I had spoken to the first time on the phone. She told me that I had to pay before I could be seen (I would understand having to pay for it but I never received a phone call so I assumed that my insurance had covered it so I never budgeted it into this pay period). I told her that I didn't get a phone call so I assumed my insurance covered it. She told me that someone called me on the ninth of October but she would call the person that called me and double check. As she did that I looked through my phone records and double checked myself. I had in fact not received a phone call. After she got off the phone she told me that the lady she spoke with said she did call me so I told her that I just checked my records and I had no phone call. She then in a very rude tone said, "Hmm, well I highly doubt that she would lie about calling you." I take that as calling me a liar. After which she said all she can do is reschedule for a different time when I can pay. My boyfriend who was sitting behind me was even upset for how I was treated and was upset about the receptionists tone with me. After his circumcision is done (since I can't go somewhere else now that to much time has passed!) I am not returning to Palouse Pediatrics. I like the doctors and everything else but I shouldn't have to be subjected to a rude receptionist that calls me a liar! The only reason I gave two stars instead of one was because of how well the doctors and nurses do their jobs."
