"I have had a very hard time finding counselors that I can work with because I have some significant trust issues when it comes to dealing with my past. I find that many counselors are either overly sympathetic, bordering on pity or they are barely engaged in our sessions, to the point of overt apathy disguised as professionalism. That was not the case with Brom. He took interest in the counseling sessions with an attentive attitude, where he maintains an air of professionalism while facilitating an overall welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. I felt comfortable talking to him about things that I had never told another soul, in a remarkably short amount of time. I made progress in leaps and bounds, and honestly, Brom helped me more than any other counselor that I have ever seen. If it hadn't been for my own personal living situation, I would still be going to see him, since for me, counseling will be an ongoing thing that I will need to do for a very long time in order to untangle the mess that has been my life up to this point. I have plans to go back and see him again as soon as my situation stabilizes enough for me to do so. My family was always welcome into counseling sessions with Brom. He always made everyone feel comfortable and as impressed as I was with his personable nature, some of my family members also ended up going to see him as well, at my recommendation. They reported being just as impressed and satisfied with his services as I was. To put it plainly, Brom is a kind and genuine person, that wants to help people in the best way possible for them. No matter who you are, Brom may very well be a good choice for you. I am very confident in saying that. I'm sure that he wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea (no one will be a great fit for everyone), but I can truly say that I believe the majority would find him just as helpful as I have. I have written this review because I believe that he has a true gift for his chosen profession and, being as I know all about having complex issues to work through, I feel that he could do a lot of people a lot of good. That and he has helped me and my family so much, I wanted to give something back by telling others that may benefit greatly from them, about the quality of his services. If you or someone that you know is in need of an excellent counselor with pretty great people skills, give Brom a try. It was definitely worthwhile for me and my family, individually."
