"Been going here off and on since my son was four,we absolutely love all the staff and the counselors too.Very welcoming and helpful. Would never go to another counseling center, very happy with the services they offer"
"The counselor was great with our child, however the billing department is horrible. They are not on top of things and can never give you a straight answer. You won't be able to know what the true cost is until months later after you leave and they will try to rob you of things you already paid for."
"Met with Rusty, the psychiatrist, to see about a nueropsych evaluation for my child. He was completely unhelpful. He didn't recommend we move forward but instead suggested I watch Super Nanny episodes and look for a therapist on the Psychology Today website. He had no feedback on the current therapist at Warm Springs that we were seeing, and he didn't take my child's issues seriously. We are literally going through hell trying to help my son and our experience with Warm Springs only moved us backward."
"At first, the front desk people were very kind and helpful but not very informative as far as their therapists are concerned. I had originally called, wanting to set up Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for my TBI son. They had me do an assessment with one therapist who then recommended Rob Johnson to be my son's primary therapist. Boy, was that first appoint with Rob awkward! He didn't make me or my son feel very welcome or comfortable and came across as odd to me. He said things like "well, I was trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but I don't use it and prefer not to" and acted like he wasn't even wanting to be my son's counselor. That was very off to me, especially since Rob is known as one of the Cognitive Behavioral Therapists there. The whole feeling was like he didn't want to help us and he actually tried sending us to a whole other mental facility!!! I was left stunned and feeling so out of place. He never mentioned any other therapist there at Warm Springs who could help. And if that wasn't bad enough, I called the front desk to explain that my son and I didn't feel comfortable with Rob Johnson and if there was someone else to provide the therapy we needed, well they said there was and they would contact them and call me back when they got approval and would schedule a time. After 2 days, i still hadn't received a call back. Very irresponsible and unprofessional. At that point, enough was enough and just canceled my services with them. I was so disappointed. I really had high hopes about them. Was a complete waste of mine and my son's time!"
"All of the counselors/therapists here are greatly kind and the staff is always very helpful and generous. We had some problems with funding for this but the staff here helped out to make it easiest for us. Definitely sets a new standard for customer service and interaction."
