Budget Car Rental 2299 South Airport Road, Wichita, KS 67209

"I am curious as to why Budget offers the prepay/reservation option if the car requested, and any viable options, are not available at the time of pick up. My wife and two daughters (6 and 4) showed up in Wichita expecting to have a full size truck capable of holding 2 car seats waiting for them to rent. Instead they were offered either a Mustang or a 15 passenger Van. Not only is that completely unacceptable, they aren't even reasonable options. Instead of having a car for their 3 day trip in Kansas they had to scramble at the airport and then ended up relying on other people to get them where they were going. If someone reserves a car and prepays there should be something equal to the reservation available."

"I booked my car a week before I needed it, I paid upfront for a car. I got there and they were out of the vehicle class I PRE-reserved. So they gave me something bigger than what I wanted and it cost me way more to to fill with fuel. They said it would not cost me more money even though it was a bigger vehicle. Completely defeateing the purpose of renting a farm and then they gave me the we can fill it option and I knew I should have said no but I didn't, and they charged me $4.09/gallon. Way more than any premium gas station near by. When I reserve ld the vehicle I prepaid the $149.00 by the time it was all said and done I paid $265.00. M highly disappointed and of course I never got a call back. I have been so happy with Budget in the past, I was so disappointed this time."

"Absolutely the worst car rental experience I've ever had. They are attempting to charge me 500$ for a rock chip in the window that was on the care prior to me driving it. Terrible customer service!!!! DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY THEY WILL FRAUDULENTLY RIP YOU OFF FOR CONSUMABLE DAMAGES"

"Okay service, but they are not a corporate location, so courtesy upgrades you could usually get as a business traveler does not exsist here. Also, when returning your car, nobody is working so everything is pretty much self service. I’d encourage this location to beef up staffing, and upgrade frequent Budget travelers."

"Booked a rental car here for someone at work. Their flight was delayed and rescheduling the car rental was a terrible experience. They tried to charge double the original rental amount to move the reservation back a few hours. When I asked questions like, "Why are you charging us more because the flight was delayed?" or "Doesn't this happen all the time?" They would only respond with rates are what they are at the time of rental. They also threatened to give the original reservation away if I didn't pay to reschedule. Total scam."
