Reviews
"They do not pick up the phone for the life of them. I have left two voicemails in the past two weeks and continue to call every day and they just do not care. Based off the other reviews I guess this is what they are known for. It's ridiculous."
"Back when we did our first testing for our child 7 years ago Northwest Neurobehavioural Health was a huge help and got us in to see someone in a timely manner. This summer however we were trying to find someone our child could talk to as they were having a tough time of it with several changes happening in their life and Northwest Neurobehavioural Health wasted most our summer with us on the wrong wait-list despite us telling them exactly what we needed and then told us that they don't take our insurance for therapy/counseling. When parents ask for help for their children many times they are way past the point when they should have asked for help and need it ASAP. Northwest Neurobehavioural Health needs to do better for the older children and actually listen to parents and what is needed. After 2 or so days of calling we found a place that got us in 2 days after our call, that is how it should be done. Thanks for nothing this year Northwest Neurobehavioural Health."
"I was referred to this place by my psychiatrist in January. Didn't receive any calls for 2-3 weeks so I called and left a message. No response for another 2 weeks. Called again and left another message. Was finally called back in March and got on the schedule for an initial screening in April. During that screening I was told that it would be about 2 months before I could get on the schedule for the actual appointment (less than ideal, but okay). Hadn't heard anything from them about scheduling so I called today (5/4/2023). I was told that they are now booked out for 2 years and that I was apparently informed of this already (lie). The only thing that this company was able to do in a timely matter was send me a bill for my initial screening."
"We haven't even had our appt yet but the office staff is extremely rude. I felt extremely unwelcomed & uncomfortable there. We turned in all our intake paperwork for our son & they were just extremely rude. They also require masks & handed me a box asking me to put one on while giving me the look of death. Holy cow. I saw the reviews but thought maybe they were having a bad day. Nope. These 0,ippl are just flat out rude Sept 2022 Updated to 4 stars. The office staff may suck but the psy was very professional, respectful, and understanding. She valued my input and respected our choice not to wear a mask behind doors as well as to take hers off. She seemed to really care for my child & wanted to make sure he got the right care. I was happy with my experience with the neuro psy just not the front desk."
"Communication is a huge problem. It took 6 months on the wait-list before they contacted us for my son's neurological evaluation, which I was fine as I know a lot of these places are backed up. What got frustrating was that when I missed their initial phone call saying they wanted to begin the process call at that 6 month mark, it took another 2 months of multiple calls a week to actually speak to someone to begin the process and paperwork. Another month after doing paperwork they called to set up the actual evaluation a month out (do NOT miss their phone calls, is the only advice I have). The evaluation itself went well once it finally happened, and they were prompt with our appointment to discuss the results, however it has been another month of attempting extract the written results from them, which they said they would mail and email immediately after our results meeting. For those keeping score, that's 11 months from referral to evaluation, and 12 months and counting to actually receive the results to take to the doctor/school."
