"St Al's sent the paperwork to them a week ago for an MRI for torn tendons. Since then I have already had a follow up appointment with a doctor but no response for IMI. We can't move forward without an MRI. I called IMI and was told they can't process me yet and a I "just have to wait my turn". I asked how long it will take and the receptionist on the phone was beyond rude and would only say "wait your turn". Meanwhile, my doctor said the tendons will recede if we wait much longer and thus a surgery will require tendons being taken from my hamstring. So basically, I'm facing extra surgery because of this fiasco."
"After 5 days I still haven’t gotten a call to schedule an ultrasound. I took time off work to call them and all I got is “the order is not processed yet” so they can’t schedule. I know they received the fax for the ultrasound as I was there when it was sent. I know they have it as I called St Al’s and they see the order but can’t schedule it for IMA. How long does it take to process an order? I understand a couple business days but this delay is unacceptable health care."
