"Jessica Elkin and her team genuinely care and provide quality treatment. We always leave confident in the care we receive and our girls love her!"
"Wouldn’t recommend going to Urgent Care here. The nurse we had seemed to be burnt out and lack empathy. The same can be said for our provider. No solutions or guidance to our reason for the visit and no discharge paperwork. The only good part about the whole experience was that the registration staff was friendly."
"My child was sent back to see Dr. Duvall due to a fever that has lasted over eight days. My son had recently been on antibiotics which had been prescribed by another doctor from the same clinic on December 27. This doctor was "filling in due to being so busy" I am unsure of her name, although she was pregnant and blonde. My son is two, and was told he had a sinus infection, so said doctor prescribed amoxicillin. Fast-forward to 2 January his fever spike to 104. So we took him in. Doctor Duvall (terrible bedside manner) Baby can took one look at my son's throat and said "he does definitely look streppy." Insinuating, that he probably has strep throat, and that she would swab him. She said she was unable to get a decent swab but she would do the strep test regardless. The swab for strep did come back negative. While she was telling me that she asked me who prescribed him amoxicillin for a sinus infection. When I told her that it was this clinic, she looked puzzled. She then stated "we don't have you on our records being in this clinic since November." Which struck me as odd because we were just there a couple weeks before. Then she said, "two-year-olds do not have fully developed sinuses and we would never prescribe amoxicillin for a sinus infection to begin with. So I don’t see us doing that" at that point I knew that that facility had given my son a wrong diagnosis, and antibiotics that he didn't even need, according to dr Duvall. Basically calling me a liar. Obviously I wasn't being taken seriously. And I knew that. While being excused from the room, Dr. Duvall said "bye Brook." Which is not my sons name so I went to the front desk and asked them who they thought my son was, sure enough, they had the wrong child as the patient. I walked out of there pretty upset. So I decided to call back in to make sure that the correct notes they were supposed to be under. My son's chart was actually done correctly. When I spoke with Dr. Duvall, she acted like having the wrong child in the room was no big deal. "Yeah, sorry about that." She’s an extremely callous person. Also, nothing was said about the Doctor Who told me my son had a sinus infection and the prescribed amoxicillin. No phone call or follow up saying how embarrassed you guys are or SORRY. As you should be."
"I took my kid to the Meridian Pediatrics Urgent care due to an allergic reaction my kid had the night before , just to be sure my son was ok ( as per recommendation of his pediatrician). He was seen by NP Ashley M Duvall who does not even touch him and told me that He seemed to be ok and made comments like my story about my son's allergic reaction was a lie ( telling me that my story was very interesting .grrr) . We were there no more than 10 minutes and now I got the bill for a 49 to 50 minute visit $314 dollars. I am very disappointing , they suppose to be pediatrician and NP treats people with no care. I just want to mention that the receptionist and nurse where very friendly and at least demonstrate that they care for the patients."
"We absolutely love Dr. Wilson! He takes time to educate us and help my kids understand what's going on with them. He's very thorough, and it's obvious he truly cares about kids. He doesn't belittle me or my kids which is so appreciated. I wish we'd found him sooner!"
