CVS Pharmacy

"Wasted trip to CVS! My wife and I each needed a Hep B vaccine. A web search directed me to CVS and I then proceeded to make an appointment using their on-line scheduling website which had me fill out all of my personal and insurance information (it took a bit of time; but I figured they were being cautious to cover their bases). I even got a text confirming my appointment. So far, so good. Then we drive 20 minutes to the Nampa location (closest one that the website offered). Then we wait to check in for about 15 minutes because 1 person was handling a long line picking up and another person was on his phone. Finally someone comes to check us in for vaccine. After requesting my Medicare card AND insurance card (which I had previously entered on-line), she tells me that there is a problem with coverage. Needed pre-approval. Was not very helpful. Also said I could pay cash price if I wanted to get it now. Later said she was very busy. Why did the website give me an appointment and they didn't honor it?!"

"I use CVS in target because it’s the only pharmacy my insurance covers. I have had an issue every time while trying to fill a simple thyroid prescription. I waited in line for 45+ minutes with only 4 people in front of me. My insurance tried to call them to talk about the issue and was on hold for an hour before they gave up and said I should go in to talk to them in person. Not looking forward to a long wait in line just to talk and not leave with a prescription even. The staff has been nice however. Please hire additional staff to help!! Maybe someone to answer phones so people don’t have to drive there every time for questions."

"I really like shopping at CVS Pharmacy in Target on Marketplace, Nampa, Idaho. The Pharmacist's are very helpful with my questions about my medications. They are always friendly and go the extra mile to satisfy me as a customer. They always have my medication on the shelf or they tell me it will be in the next day. The pharmacists that have been there the longest, greet me by my first name. I really like that. I know my frustrations with CVS Pharmacy in Target on marketplace has a small staff, which causes a long wait in line. I wish CVS Pharmacy would increase the salary of the staff in the pharmacy and treat the staff with more respect. They do a good job! Like other businesses, a small staff causes a lot of problems that can't be helped unless you are looking for a miracle . Bottom line, I am satisfied with my visits to the pharmacy only because the staff are professional people. The problem is the number of staff working. Please fix this !!!!!"

"I'm not sure what's going on today but there is only the pharmacist working. She's trying to administer vaccines, fill prescriptions, and run the register at the same time. I stood in line for over forty-five minutes and only two people got served ahead of me! I left because I was tired of waiting. Kudos to the poor pharmacist who was just trying to stay afloat. Whoever the manager is, or who is responsible for scheduling, needs removed. This isn't the first time this has happened either. I'm considering going elsewhere!"
