"Came in looking for a couch, found a bunch of highly overpriced junk, and that was after driving way out of my way. Save your time, it's not nearly as cheap as everyone says."
"Pretty disorganized compared to other Restores. Piles of mixed up stuff everywhere. As of 2023, the place is a lot more organized. Nice improvements since my first visit."
"I find this store way overpriced for a majority of items. Much of the staff needs a reality check; I can find many things new for cheaper in our local stores And building houses for a few on the profits of those of us picking through discarded items trying to cobble our own homes together in this area doesn’t address one of the real needs. If people are showing up to buy a used cabinet, faucet, or whatever they need Habitat’s help too. There are at least 2 groups of people who need Habitat’s help & the Belgrade Habitat Store is totally ignoring one of them - their customers."
"I wish I had better things to say about the store, but it seems that the direction it has taken is not in the better interest of sustaining in the long-term, what was a great(ly disorganized) resource for all sorts of home improvement options, has now turned into a very limited selection of things that literally I could get brand new on black Friday discount for less money. It seems evident from reviews and my experiences at the restore, there should be better balance between the (needed) desire to re-organize, and completely wiping out useful options for the local community to further support the Habitat for Humanity mission. Further, based on the replies from management, seems they are uninterested in listening to their patrons. I used to visit multiple times a week and would purchase about $80 worth of merchandise, each time- this time I spent $18, and likely won't return for a real long while. While I understand the purpose of the clean out, at the same time completely wiping out sections of paint, tile, grout, cabinets, and kitchen supplies, while changing an entire room to clothing (a thrift market which is widespread between goodwill/4 corners) where patrons were actually spending money, is a bit backwards in terms of turning profits into homes. Not to mention when the tile side was still open, I had to shop and listen to two employees/volunteers, one an interior decorator, complain the entire time about the operation. Hopefully management takes herd to the wants and needs of the regular patrons, and make adjustments to achieve the balance of organization, yet not turning away much desired supplies, and not charging higher than retail. $20 for a used farberware food processor is a joke."
"I love that this store has been cleaned up and is so nice now. The broken things have been removed and I have piece of mind that what I purchase will actually work! The staff is very friendly and helpful now and the price increases are NOT significant and for a very worthwhile cause, to build houses for needy families! Still one of my favorite places to shop. Keep up the great work guys the store looks amazing!"
