"location is OK, rooms are ok, refrigerators work sometimes and too cold other times. Staff never at the front desk for check in, always a wait and if they are they are on the phone with very little English to understand. They want to change rates frequently upon check in."

""I pushed through a snowstorm and drove for over 10 1/2 hours across three states. Exhausted, I called to check for availability and was fortunate enough to find a room. The warm smile and cozy lobby greeted me, making me feel at home. In the middle of the night, I was startled by a fire alarm. Grateful that it was a false alarm. In the morning, there was no water. The front desk told me that a water line had broken. However, the front desk was quick to respond and provided me with bottled water to get me through the morning. Despite the inconvenience, I refuse to hold it against this establishment. I recommend this hotel for the warm welcome and comfortable sleep it provided me in the midst of a challenging journey.""

"Not in the best part of town. The building is old and in need of a big remodel. Service was questionable but okay. The rooms, which are no smoking, smelled like cigarette smoke. The light switch at the door did not turn on any lights. The desk chair had ripped arms, and the room was too small for the chair to go at the desk. The refrigerator was extremely loud. However, the room, even though old, did seem clean."

"Not great but not bad either. Nothing special and it's right next to the paper mill that smells really bad. It's all good if you keep the window shut. Came here to spend Christmas with some dysfunctional family and of course it went sideways so we had to get a room. It will do in a pinch."

"We were in town for a Christmas party and didn't want to drive back to Orofino that night. They got us a room and everyone was so nice and efficient the room was clean and our whole stay didn't cost us a arm and leg. We will definitely stay again. Great job everyone at motel 8. Merry Christmas"
