"Days, before Christmas I went to the place with my brother who was visiting me from Chile, we bought some things, and when we wanted to pay, the clerk asked me for my phone number, I gave it to him, he asked me to repeat it twice, then he said it is not correct, so I gave to him the number of my husband, who has had it for more than 20 years, he said it was wrong, finally I tried with the land phone, and he said you can't buy here, with the system refusing you, this purchase is not possible. Since my brother does not speak English, he asked me in Spanish, what was going on, and I tried to explain something that was becoming unreasonable...the clerk did not want to sell us either because we were Latinos, or because he was a misogynist. A woman, I guess the manager, came to see what was going on because we did not want to leave without our gifts but we were not arguing, the clerk was the one moving his hands or being mad because we insisted on trying. Finally, the woman saw the screen, never talked to us, just to him. It was unbelievable that three different American phone numbers didn't work, but my brother's one (from Chile) did. Every time I pass by that store I remind that experience and hurts me because he made me feel humiliated. I am a professional, and not even being educated with him and patient I got from the clerk better service. I couldn't believe that guy valued people for their appearance (skin color). My brother is an engineer, fortunately, he did not understand too much, but he thought it was stupid that purchasing something with a phone number had more importance than paying with a credit card. I will not even online purchase something from Eddie Bauer."

"Very nice store layout. And an amazing sale going on. Was able to get great thing for a fair price. Staff was super nice and attentive. Wife ended up walking out with a few light wieght jackets. And as any man can vouch for it hard to shop with your wife. This was a success."

"Nice store with all the latest Eddie Bauer. Super helpful staff. Be sure to get on their rewards program and get notice of upcoming sales. Also could the sale rack often, I always find good deals here. The shoes are also a go to in my closet. Stylish, but functional, with good traction for the snowy wet days. Live these new boots with a touch of herringbone to make them pop with my black or gray leggings."

"Our winter this February 2016 has been non-existent. This does not stop me from shopping for winter outerwear at Eddie Bauer. Their First Ascent line is superbly technical and are comparable to other to brands (think Marmot, Mountain Hard Wear, Patagonia, LL Bean, North Face). Many of their products are simply best in class and when they go on sale, the value is excellent. My local store was busy on my visit, but staff still greeted and checked in on me. Their merchandising was simple and easy to shop. I wish the had a larger selection of First Ascent line in the local store. It is still nice to be able to return online selections to the store. Good job!"
