"Scallion pancakes were tasty, karaage was a bit overcooked but not unbearable. Chicken udon was tasty but the sauce was lacking in my opinion. The veggies in the udon were a nice and unique touch. My husband had the build your own ramen and was happy with the tonkontsu broth. The robot food runner is always a nice touch. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back to try the Cajun seafood!"
"A fine ramen restaurant at Harry and Rock. This was my first visit since their fairly recent opening, and it did not disappoint. There is a nice dining area with plenty of room, and the mixed themes of Japanese and Cajun are present in the decor just like on the menu. I went with the pork belly ramen and the noodles were cooked perfectly while the pork bone broth tasted incredible. My toppings included sprouts, scallions, and fish cakes, along with nori and an ajitama egg. The broth and the red pepper flakes for heat made a fantastic flavor, while the presentation was fair at best, and the pork belly slices were slightly tough but still a good part of the dish. Service was very nice and pricing was $13.50 for the bowl. I still need to come back and try the poke next but they also offer Cajun seafood boils. I recommend Oishi to southeast Wichita, and I will definitely be returning again soon to try out more of the menu."
"Oishi has a good selection from different cuisines — Hawaiian poke bowl, Japanese ramen, and cajun seafood, to name a few, and lots of customization for each. We tried the tuna and salmon poke with house sauce and the pork belly ramen. Both came with nice presentation and tasted great! Food is delivered to us by a service robot which is a first in Wichita, I think. Highly recommended."
"Very friendly. Clean dining area. Super fresh food! Fried rice was the closest to what I was used to in California. Partner says the poke bowl and crab rangoons were delicious. Good size servings. Will be back!"
"Great food. Lovely atmosphere. Fast and friendly service. It's one of those rare places where everyone seems to love what they are doing and proud of what they making. Fresh and delicious. We had both the ramen and poke with a few appetizers at our table. Everything was flavorful and well presented. The whole vibe of the restaurant just makes you want to go back. Which we plan to many times! This quickly took a top spot in our list of favorite places to eat in Wichita."
